Avery POV

Walking towards me with a happy smile on his face, he spoke up, “I've wondered where you were from and I didn't know you worked in the Redmoon pack.”

“H…hi.” I said with an uneasy smile. “I actually do not work here since I'm the first daughter of Alpha West Rosacea.

“Oh wow!” Dean said in surprise. “Why haven't I seen you before?” He asked.

“My father is against the idea of a woman being involved in pack affairs.” I replied sadly

“That's not nice.” Dean said with a frown. “I never got to learn your name last time we met.”

Hearing that, fear coursed through my body, causing me to shudder as my mind went to what they did together and I wondered what will happen now. “That…is true.” I replied, swallowing hard.

“So can I get the honour of knowing your name?” He asked.

“Avery….Avery Rosacea.” I replied, tightening my right hand anxiously.

“My name is Dean Elord.” He replied. “I am more than pleased to meet you.” He said with a smile.
