I sat on the couch at the hospital reception, calculating what to do to take my mother out of here.

"Oh no, what will I do?" I am talking to no other person but myself.

"What seems to be the problem you have these days?" I heard Clara's voice. I raised my eyebrows to see her standing in front of me. She was illuminating my eyes with light.

I didn’t know how to tell her this. I gazed at her blankly, which conveyed deep emotion.

"There’s nothing wrong with me. I’m fine." I said sadly, I wish I had told her what I was doing to cause my heart to throb in pain, but how can I tell her?

"Your mouth may say another thing, but your eyes made it clear that you are lying." She holds me by the hand and caresses my cheek softly. I guess I should let her know that I want to work as a cleaner if there’s a way she can help me out.

"I’m looking for work," I said to her; she had her face smiling at me.

"Oh, that’s nice, you've decided on what to do." She was smiling at me and said she thought it was

He rubs his eyes with his hand. “Jas?” he calls out in shock. I nod my head, shut the door, and give him a hug. “I miss you,” I say to him. He pats my back, seeming to think he’s dreaming. “Are you for real? It seems to me that I’m dreaming,” he asks weakly. I guess he still doubts that I’m the one. I nod and kiss him. He recoils from my kiss. “Why did you leave? Do you know I almost killed myself because you left me?” he says. “I’m sorry about that. I thought it would be good for both of us, so I left. But I’m back now to stay,” I say. I didn’t think I was coming back to stay as his girlfriend but as his stepsister. “Are you sure?” he asks, tears dripping from his eyes.
