The bumper to bumper traffic tested my patience a lot. The usual fifteen to twenty minutes ride became almost an hour and a half because of rush hours and road interruptions. I texted my son’s phone immediately when we arrived at the condominium, waiting in the lobby. I decided to wait him here to avoid long chats with Blake and waste time as Barack was waiting us in the hotel. A minute after I sent the message, my phone beeped. 

“Come here upstairs, mom. I am still playing with dude,” it says. I smirked and typed my response. “Don’t use your scheme on me, Blake. My son doesn’t know how to read and type. Bring him here because your extended time is up.”
