Chapter Twenty Nine

Leonel's POV

Every inch of me lit up with the burning, urgent need to possess Miracle. She was so beautiful, and it took all my effort to not lean in and kiss her right then and there.

But I didn't want to force myself on her. Even though we had kissed earlier, I wanted everything between us to happen naturally. I took a deep breath and pulled away. She looked stunned but didn't say anything.

"Let's head downstairs," I said and picked up my briefcase.

The drive home was tense and the sexual energy between us was palpable. My heart pounded in my chest, and I knew she could feel it too. We sat in silence for most of the ride.

Finally, we arrived home. I got out of the car, walked around to the other side, and opened the door for Miracle. She smiled at me and said, "How cute."
