Susan's POV

How could George do this to me? How could he mess up my life?

I felt really mad and angry. George would have to face the consequences. He planned everything so well that I never suspected anything.

He must have found out about my divorce with Patrick five years ago and followed me to the small town where I went to heal. He acted like he was meeting me for the first time and slowly became a part of my life.

He must be probably feeling pleased with himself wherever he was, thinking he did a great job. But he would surely pay for all the pain he caused me.

I wiped away my tears and asked Patrick, “Did you tell the police about this?”

“Yes, they're still investigating. But for your safety and Isabella's, it's best if you stay away from him.”

I agreed and quickly called the school.

“I have to go pick up my daughter from school. George was supposed to get her, but I need to tell the school to stop him. My daughter can't be with that monster for another moment!”
