CHAPTER SIXTY-SIX

The King and Queen laughed loudly at the dry joke. It had been long since either of them laughed so loudly. It freed their spirit, body, and mind from any traces of the chains of death still holding them. 

“It is nice to meet you your majesties. I am Kale and-and-and I-I-I…”

“It is okay Kale.” The Queen bent down and pecked the jumpy Kale’s head.

She blushed happily and hugged the Queen like the happy little girl she was. 

The King and Queen liked her spirit. If only they knew how she was. 

“And that is Alex. He joined us a few days ago but he has been a great help to us.”

Alex found the power to forge a smile but Justin knew something was very fishy about the smile.
