EPILOGUE

There was a fly buzzing in his ear. It was the most annoying noise he heard for as long as he could remember. He raised his hand weakly and chased the fly from his ear.

The fly still came back, even louder. He groaned hitting the fly with his hand with his eyes closed. 

He realized that he was somewhere but somewhere he did not understand. The last words he heard was I will take you back to your mother. He did not remember who said those words but he thought it was his mother.

It didn’t make sense. Why will his mother said she would take him back to his mother? Unless…

He moved a bit and found out he was resting on something hard. With his eyes still closed and in pain, he tried to feel what he was laying on to find out that he was lying on a pile of stones.

I need to open my eyes. He thought to himself. He was afraid to but keeping his eyes shut was not a solution.
