CHAPTER THIRTY-TWO
Miles was excited about being in a room with Angela. It was going to be fun.
At first, Angela saw the opportunity as golden but then she became scared. How was she going to handle being alone with Miles?
She trusted him but what if he tried something. No, he cannot…can he? Her parents taught her to trust no one in the world but them. Miles and the bandits were different. They weren’t people that would do something to hurt her.
She’s only known them a few weeks but she trusted them. Now she was doubting that trust by a nibble.
“What do you think? Is Leila going to cook for us?” Miles said looking closely at Angela.
He noticed she was shy and uneasy. That was something he didn’t want. He wanted the other Angela back. He was getting her back.
“Do not know but I am sure it is something Kale will love.”
“Positive about that.”
