LOGINCHAPTER 2
MEADOW POV The bulky guy pulled on the chain around my hand, urging me to keep walking. But I couldn't help but keep staring at everything and everyone. It felt like I was in a whole new world, but how? I watched as someone called names with numbers and a long queue which I am among, stood waiting for their turn to be called up. I kept looking around, still shocked by my sudden appearance here. I stared as I saw a vampire drag a young girl as she cried, staring at her I could tell she was about to shift but immediately the man used a whip on her making her whimper stopping her shift. “Don't try me little mutt.” The vampire said with a rough voice as he continued to pull her. Oh moon goddesses, what is this place? I was supposed to be dead or is this hell? No it can't be, maybe…maybe the witch did something or worse, did the spell go wrong? Am…am I stuck in limbo or something? If that's the case, I need to go and find my way back to the blackwood pack. My mate, oh my God, Conri must be waiting for me. “Meadow, 259, hybrid.” The man calling names said my name with a smile, “A rare blood for our royal highness himself.” “Right here, I've got the hybrid.” The bulky man who held the chains around my hands said with amusement and pride. I watched as everyone stared at me, some faces were filled with fear and some others were amused or fascinated like they just discovered something new. The whispers were getting louder as everyone kept staring, it was overwhelming, everything was overwhelming. I couldn't take it anymore, I used all my strength to push the bulky man holding the chains on his hand so hard that he went flying to the other side of the road making everyone gasp. I took the opportunity to break the chain which was surprisingly easy, but how? I didn't have time to start processing everything as I began running, I needed to get out of this place and find my way back to the blackwood pack. “Do you have any idea how to get there?” Aliya, my wolf asked. Great, thank goddess I still have you. I immediately blocked her out as I continued running in any direction since I didn't know exactly where I was going. Everywhere looked somehow alike, I thought coming to a stop as I breathed heavily. “Am I running in circles?” I asked myself while looking around. “Stop right there hybrid.” I turned around to see two men running towards me in a super fast way. Shit, vampire speed. Just as I began to run again, something or someone hit me so hard that I fell to the ground with a groan, everything became blurry as I laid on the ground. That felt very, very real and painful which means I'm still alive. Why am I still alive? “You stupid hybrid.” I could recognize the voice as that bulky man's voice as I stayed laid to the ground trying to get a clearer vision after the fall. “Do I have to do everything myself, Drew?” A slurry voice said, it was so beautiful that I just wanted to melt into it. It was like an angel was talking to me. “My queen, I ... .it…” the once bulky man began stuttering. Who was this woman to make this big man crumble like that. Wait…he said queen, was she…I slowly sat up and stared up to see the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. She stood tall, her slender body all arranged with smooth pale skin. Her red lipstick was bright enough for me to see it from the ground. Her wavy pitch black hair was absolutely beautiful, you could tell that she takes absolute care of her hair. “This is Lucifer’s meal, don't make me fetch it myself.” She said, annoyed baring her fangs. Are they …am I the ‘it’? “Hey,” I said, I stood up and dusted my clothes and that's when I noticed that was the only thing that didn't change. I still wore the once blue dress now covered in Dennis's blood. Then how am I here? I immediately brushed that off as I stood tall, staring at the gorgeous lady before me, “Did you just call me, it? Am a person, do you realize that?” The guy chuckled from behind, “She's dead.” That was all I heard before I found myself in the air and a hand wrapped around my neck blocking my windpipe. “I won't allow a piece of trash, speak to me directly. Didn't you teach her manners?” She snarled. “We…I…did…I'm sorry my queen.” I wheez, “Let…..” wheez, “Me…” wheez, “Go.” I said gasping for air. “If you kill her before Lucifer sees or has a taste of her, you know he would be mad, right?” I heard someone say as the lady let go of me. I landed on my feet, gasping desperately for air as I held my neck. I didn't look up as I placed both hands on my knees gasping for air. “I wasn't trying to kill her, Daxon, I only wanted to show her her place.” The once angry lady whined. “I've told you, you don't need to prove anything to anyone. Bring her in before she tries to escape again.” The guy whose name was Daxon said, I looked up to see his face but he had already turned. I could only see his back. I was sure his voice sounded familiar but where? “Get up mutt.” The bulky guy, Drew, said pulling me up by my arm. I hissed from how harshly he held my arm, “Not another word, hybrid.” He said harshly to me. “Get her inside.” The beautiful lady said, I take it back, your voice isn't angelic. I was practically dragged into the gates that I didn't realize was right in front of me. Confused, I just kept walking quietly, did I just run to my room with my own two legs? Immediately I stepped into the gate, chills went up my spine in the bad way which meant Aliya, my wolf whimpered as she went behind my mind. Yep, I’m all alone. I breathed out softly as I stared at the castle, this was no ordinary building. Drew pulled me again like I wasn't already walking. I sighed annoyed as I struggled with his hand on my arm, I was sure that would leave a bruise later. He let go of my arm and whispered “Don't even think of running, everything here is alive.” He snickered as he turned. I scoffed looking away, it's not like I knew where to run to. I did run here with my own legs. I sigh, turning to the side when something catches my eyes from the bush. I tilt my head to the side as I keep staring. I thought it was light illuminating from the bushes until it blinked. That's when I realized they were eyes staring back at me. I still didn't tear my eyes away from it until suddenly birds flew out like a hurricane startling me. Drew laughed, “Walk hybrid.” He said pulling since I didn't respond. The doors opened and a bright light, bright enough to blind me, shone through the door. Immediately I walked in, I couldn't help but gasp, this…this was a fortress. No one would know just how fancy it is here until you step in. It was buzzing with servants carrying a basket or a mop or something. They all just seemed busy, like they were preparing for something. “This is amazing.” I said to myself as the chandelier caught my attention. I gasped, it was gorgeous. How did they arrange it so beautifully? I thought with a smile as I kept staring at it. We stopped just above the chandelier. That way I could get a clearer view of it and it was breathtaking. “I didn't know the hybrid could smile.” I froze, that voice was sweet with a pitch of darkness beneath. But it was very familiar. But it was impossible, there was no way it was possible. I swallowed, tearing my eye away from the chandelier. I looked at a figure as he walked down the stairs looking down. His steps were bold and graceful like he knew exactly what he wanted how he wanted it, and it was clear he had a smirk on his lips even though he wasn't looking up. I was so curious to see his face, that I subconsciously tilted my head to the side. Suddenly a more slender figure blocked my view, “Watch it hybrid.” I gave her a pointed look, about to give her a reply when the figure came into view, I could only see his chest from how tall he was and he was muscular. “Easy Elexa, I paid a lot to have her.” He took a step closer, his index finger went to my chin and lifted my face so I could see his eyes. I gasped as my throat suddenly went dry, what…how…? “Hello hybrid, you better be worth the pay.” He said with a smirk. I breathed out shakingly and swallowed, “Conri?” I said as tears rolled down my cheeks.CHAPTER 4MEADOW POV“What the fuck is wrong with you?” Dennis yelled still on the ground.“I mean it Dennis, stay down.” I warned, ready to activate whatever I did before when I killed him.“You want to protect him? You should protect yourself. He's the fucking king, hybrid.” A rush of wind slammed into me as I instinctively closed my eyes.“I would be careful what you say next .” He said warningly as I peeled my eyes open and he was right there.“Step away from my prize blood, Daxon. It's a pity such a pretty face is crazy.” I heard Conri, well, Lucifer say calmly like he wasn't bothered. I turned around still shocked by his sudden behavior and character. What is wrong with mate?I don't know but we'll help him, that's why he has us.“For disrespecting me, Elexa and my trusted advisor, wow that's a lot on your first day. I would have loved to whip you with the nail whip and watch blood gush out of your open wound,” he said, void of any emotion.I gulped because for some reason, I

But I can't act out yet, these vampires, I must be careful. I tried to calm my wolf, Aliya, so she would understand His scent hit me hard, even though it was a bit different the usual scent of lavender had changed but at least his sandalwool scent remained. Though this new scent drove me crazy, I couldn't quite put my finger on what he smelt like but it was heavenly and familiar? The black shirt he wore was a perfect fit, two or three buttons were opened exposing his chest. His black hair was perfectly arranged, with a few strands falling into his eyes. He was perfect without any flaws, he was gorgeous.I smiled the first real smile since I got here, this wa

CHAPTER 1MEADOW POVBLACKWOOD ANCIENT TEMPLEI sat next to my mate's body as it floated on an altar in the center of an ancient temple. Everything still played in my head like it was happening all over again. Watching my mate die right before my eyes as that wolf dug his hands into my mate's chest from behind. Oh moon goddesses, would I ever forget what happened yesterday?I ran my hands through my mate's now pale face but he still looked so handsome and more at peace. That made a smile spread on my face. The tip of my hair touched his face, reminding me my hair was now silver. I still couldn't wrap my head around why or how I did what I did when that wolf dug his hand in my mate's chest. My mate was my life. He found me at my lowest and picked me up not minding that I was an orphan. My name is Meadow Lightwood, I was raised by a pack of wolves in an orphanage with no trace of who or what my parents were.I was isolated at first since they thought I was human, until my sixth birthd
