The moment I got to Shawn and saw him all dressed up, looking like a Hollywood idol, I knew this night would become one of the hardest for me. He was irresistibly attractive.

He had always been.

I had to summon all my restraint to avoid looking at him way too much or even harboring the thoughts of truly acknowledging how well God had created him.

He looked entirely different than I've seen him all this while. He really went out of his way to look as casual as he could seem and alleviate any corporate energy. I did look informal too and when he complimented me, I wanted to shove it in his face.
