Thea stepped through the front door of the mansion, a triumphant smile on her face. The drive back from Zean Business School had been a long one, but her spirit felt lighter than it had in months.

Even after Ms Harmony had told Chloe off, she still didn't back down. She and her friends had blocked Thea's path later that afternoon, asking the dumbest questions.

But she ignored her.

Brushing off Chloe and her friends and stepping into her ride as Ethan pulled over right in front of the entrance, made her feel so much better.

She walked to her room, ready to finally relax and let the good feelings wash over her.

Thea shuts the door behind her and heads for the closet, which has an extension leading into the bathroom, only to see that it is ajar.

Strange. She never leaves any door unlocked unless the cleaners have already come in here. She stepped in anyway and almost immediately, she noticed something was different.

Her new clothes, the ones Daisy had bought for her just a few weeks ago, were gone.

In their place, hung a new collection of clothes. They were all expensive designers. Her empty bag hanger was now occupied with different bags, shoes were now in the shoe rack, filled with heels from top to bottom, and a jewelry box. Packed and on full display.

Her old clothes, gone. Until she took a closer look and sighed in relief, they were still there. Neatly folded in a drawer.

She took one more look at her wardrobe, they were all perfectly her size. Could Seth have noticed that she didn't have that many clothes? She chuckled, and he pretended not to care…

Thea heads out of the closet and grabs the telecom next to her bed and dialing the staffroom.

“Good evening Ms Thea.” Butler John said on picking up the phone at the first ring.

“Good evening, John. My wardrobe..”

“Ah, yes. Mr Seth told us to replace everything and fill your closet up.”

“Oh.” She said, a smile dancing on her lips.

“Yes. Mr Seth is currently in his library. He requested that you stop by.”

Stop by?

She knew what the contract said about going into his quarters for any reason yet here she was…

“Okay.”

Thea ended the call and made her way to Seth's quarters. Why does he want to see her? Is Celine around again? Finally outside his library, she placed a knock on the door.

“Come in.”

Thea pushed the door open to find Seth sitting behind his large mahogany desk, his eyes fixed on the tablet he had in hand.

“You asked to see me?”

His eyes finally met her and only then did she notice the green box on the table.

"I have something for you." He said simply.

Thea's heart skipped a beat. She was still reeling from the clothes and the sudden call to his library, and now he had a gift for her.

She walked towards him, her mind a whirlwind of thoughts. She was so close to him, she could feel the heat radiating from him. He opened the small velvet box and pulled out a beautiful necklace, a delicate silver chain with a simple, elegant pearl at its center.

"Celine wanted you to have it," he said, his voice softer now.

Her eyes flickered to him. “Celine?”

He stood up and walked behind her, his fingers gently pushing her hair aside. He placed the necklace around her neck, his fingers brushing against her skin, sending a jolt of electricity through her body.

“She felt terrible that she didn't have enough time to get you a wedding gift.” Seth explained.

"Thank you," she said, her voice a soft whisper.

She touched the necklace, her fingers tracing the smooth, cool surface of the pearl. "It's beautiful."

He nodded, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. "I'm sure she would be glad you like it." He returned to his seat.

Silence weighed heavily on the room and Thea fought back the urge to ask Seth a question. One she’s had ever since that call with Butler John.

"My clothes..." she began, her voice a little hesitant. "Did you replace them?"

Seth looked at her, his expression a mask of feigned ignorance. "What clothes are you talking about?"

Thea's eyes narrowed. “My wardrobe. You told Butler John to have it all replaced.”

Seth didn't meet her gaze. “I have no idea what you're talking about.”

Thea scanned him in silence, something tells her he's lying. There's no way John would do something like this unless Seth gave the order.

"We can just call Butler John then," she said, her voice teasing. "And ask who gave him the order."

She reached for his telecom, leaning over him. Seth's eyes, which had been fixed on the tablet in his hands, shot up to meet hers. He had been caught. He set his tablet on the desk.

"What do you think you're doing?" he said, his voice a low growl.

“Reaching for your telecom. I need to know who ordered Butler John to fill up my wardrobe.”

But before she could reach it, he moved, reaching for the telecom as well.

Thea reached a little too far and stumbled, losing her footing. Seth circled her arm around her waist, pulling her down to sit on his lap, her back to his chest.

Thea’s heart pounded against her ribs.

She was sitting on his lap, her body flush against his, and she felt a sudden rush of heat.

“Are you always this clumsy?” He groaned, his lips hovering above her ears.

Thea's toes curled. He was a solid, unmoving wall of muscle. “I'm sorry..” she muttered.

She tried to stand but he pulled her back down on his lap. He didn't say a word, his arms wrapped tightly around her, holding her in place.

He was letting her feel the heat of his body, the steady rhythm of his heart, and the power she held over him.

Hell, his dick always seems to do this celebratory dance whenever she's around. And it was doing it now, pressing hard against her buttcheeks.

“I don't think sorry is going to fix this, Thea.” He muttered.

Thea swallowed, she knew what he meant and the river in between her legs was just the answer she needed.

“Aren't you busy?” she stammered.

“Not anymore..”

He slowly lifted her from his lap and placed her on his desk, the cold, smooth surface of the wood felt to the heat of his body.

Thea’s eyes were wide as she stared at him, her mind a whirlwind of conflicting emotions. She pulled her hands over her legs, avoiding his gaze. “I…I have a few books to get to..”

He looked at her, his eyes a dark, unreadable ocean of desire, and a slow, smirk spread across his face. “You should have thought about that before falling on my lap.”

Thea met his gaze, dumbfounded. “I wanted to leave…”

He knew she didn't want to. He knew what she was thinking. He knew what she was feeling. Hell, he felt the same too.

He reached for her and pulled her towards him, his mouth finding hers in a slow, searing kiss.

Thea’s mind went blank, her body responding to his touch with a sudden, desperate hunger. She kissed him back, her hands finding his shirt, her fingers fumbling with the buttons.

He broke the kiss, his eyes still fixed on hers, and he unbuttoned her shirt and once he tugged it free, his hand cupped her breast in the bra.

He kissed her neck, her collarbone, and then her nipples which were taut and ready for him.

His lips a trail of fire that left her gasping for breath. He teased her, sending her closer and closer to the edge.

He pulled away, a teasing smile on his lips. “Do you still want to leave?”

Thea shook her head shamelessly, biting her lip as she stared up at him. Where the hell did she have to be that could be way more important than this bliss she felt?

“Words, Thea.”

“No.” She muttered.

“Good. Lay down.”

Thea complied, laying her back down on the cool desk while Seth yanked off her skirt. His finger traced the line of her elite, earning a moan from her.

“You're so wet…” he muttered, his eyes flickering over to her with a look she couldn't quite read. Whatever it was, it made her even wetter.

Seth pulled her legs apart, before settling between her thighs, teasing her with his tongue and his fingers. Thea clamped her hand over hermouh, fighting back the desperate cry of sheer pleasure that threatened to tear through her lungs. He thrusts in his tongue, licking and teasing her until she couldn't think of anything else but him.

Thea’s hands moved to his hair, her fingers tangling in the soft, dark strands, her body arching into his touch.

Every inch of her body seemed to heighten at his touch. She wanted him. She wanted him with a desperate, all-consuming need that she had never felt before.

Seth joined her, kissing her. His mouth a hungry, demanding presence on hers, his hands tracing the curves of her body, leaving a trail of fire in their wake.

Thea’s breath came in ragged gasps, her body trembling with anticipation but Seth wanted to take his time, to tease her, to make her weak in the knees.

Hell, he already did that.

One tug at his belt and a pull of his pants and he was free, hard and ready for her.

He entered her, his eyes swinging shut at how her walls clenched around him.

Thea let out a soft cry, her body tensing, then relaxing into his rhythm. She wrapped her legs around his waist, her arms holding on to the edge of the table, her body a perfect fit for his.

Her head swung back, how the hell did she forget he was so high. He filled every inch of her, almost knocking the wind out of her!

Seth went deeper and deeper into her, making her try harder and harder to bite down her moans with each stroke. The books on his table, now scattered on the floor around the library.

He pulled away from her, helped her up and made her lay chest down on the desk before thrusting into her again.

“Seth,” she gasped as he slammed into her ruthlessly.

The moans were different this time. She didn't try to bite it down, each stroke hitting the same spot every time. She didn't care if anyone could hear her now, his stroke felt way too good.

So good the only name she could remember was his. He went deeper and faster, his grunts and her moans filling the room.

“Seth…I'm…”

Thea grabbed his ram, fingernails cutting into his skin as she reached her climax.

She laid on his table, breathless. He didn't pull away, just stared at her.

Not scrutinising her, just staring…admiring.. What the hell is the feeling brewing deep in his chest?

Thea glanced at the wall clock on the wall, she should be going getting ready for the next class tommorow..

She sat up and Seth helped her down from the table. He picked up her clothes and put them on for her. It was hard, extremely difficult to keep his hands to himself while he dressed her up but he did anyway.

“Thanks for the clothes.” She said again..

“I still don't know what you're talking about.”

Thea chuckled. She walked out of the library and just like that, the Thea magic was gone and his space felt…hollow again.

His heart pounded in his chest as she adjusted his tie, eyes staring down at her with more fear than she'd ever since in his eyes. She met his gaze, a smile on her lips. “What?” “I didn't know you were this..brave.” Thea chuckled. “There’s more to me than you know. And you're going to spend forever finding out.” “Is that a deal?” He smiled and she nodded, eyes glowing. The morning light fell softly across the kitchen, painting the marble counter in shades of gold. Thea was standing right in front of Seth, eyes fixed on his suit and then his tie before giving a satisfied nod. “You're good to go.” Seth glanced at the standing mirror behind her, crisp shirt, dark tie, hair pulled neatly back. He looked way better than he did weeks back. “I don’t have to go in today,” he said without meeting her gaze. She smiled faintly. “If you don't, we will never get this over with."Seth’s eyes met hers, calm but shadowed. “I just need to make sure everything stays in place. The police have

The first thing that hit him that morning wasn’t the light, it was the silence. The house felt too still, too quiet. The kind of calm that only came after a storm had exhausted itself. The curtains swayed gently, letting in fractured sunlight that painted lazy shapes across the bedroom floor. For a moment, Seth didn’t move. He just lay there, staring at the ceiling, letting the faint hum of the city seep through the walls. Is this the right thing to do? Coming back here? Would Celine forgive him for not giving her a proper goodbye? If he's going against Donlad, will the people he cares about be safe? The bed dipped beside him.
