I stared at the guy for a few seconds longer than I should have. I had seen a lot of good-looking guys before but there was something about the green-eyed guy in front of me that awoke emotions buried deep within my belly.

“Are you not going to pick up my books?” The guy crossed his arms on his chest and frowned. His tone was tense and he clenched his jaw.

I finally came back to reality and made the attempt to bend down so I could pick up his books. It was my fault and I felt sorry for what had happened.

“Hey, hey, hey!” Vanity stopped me from bending down to the floor. “Don’t touch those books. He’s the one that bumped into you.” She placed her hands on her hips.

“Excuse me?” The guy chuckled dryly. “She was the one that bulldozed me!” He argued.

“That’s no excuse, you should have seen her from a mile away,” Vanity fired back, and I felt uncomfortable.

“You know what? I’m late for class, you two can go to hell.” The guy rolled his eyes and bent down to pick up his books.

Vanity pulled me aside and we walked away. “Never apologize to someone like that. Never again. What is wrong with you?”

“I was the one that hit him, Vanity,” I replied. I glanced back at the guy and he was still trying to get his things from the floor.

“I don’t care if you stab him with a kitchen knife, never apologize or try to help him. You should know this.” Vanity scoffed.

We were now heading into a classroom. There were only a few students in the class but it was filling up gradually. It was homeroom.

“But why?”

“That liquor from last night must have really messed up your memories. I can’t understand how you are able to move around without having the hangover of the century.” Vanity chuckled.

I smiled wryly as I sat down next to her at the back of the class. “Yeah, I am never drinking like that again.” I forced a laugh.

“Okay, let me jog your memory, sweetheart. That hot guy that you bumped into is no other than Jade Sanchez. He plays soccer and has won a lot of trophies for the school. He has no dad and lives with his mom in a pathetic little house.” Vanity began.

“The only reason he is going to this school is that he is on an athletic scholarship. The reason that you can not be seen apologizing and helping him out is because of your image. We are high on the social hierarchy, and we need to keep it that way.” She continued, and my heart tugged.

This was ridiculous. I could not believe that this was the reason that Vanity made me walk away from an accident that I had caused.

“So I should not help or talk to him because he’s not popular?” Disgust smeared my words.

“He is a commoner, Katara. He and his mother are omegas. They are low-lives.”

I was disgusted that Vanity spoke of Jade and his mother that way. I was starting to know more about the person that Katara really was, and that was a crappy one.

I was starting to think twice about being in the body of someone as mean and rude as Katara.

“Oh,” I replied numbly. The class was now almost full and a group of three boys suddenly walked in. Everyone was looking at them, including Vanity. They were very attractive and dressed very well.

“Chad is rocking that hair, am I right? The gray goes so well with his skin tone.” Vanity said to me adoringly.

I only nodded as my eyes landed on one of the guys, the one that had gray-dyed hair. Vanity was right, it did look good on him. But he was not my type.

“Chad is so hot. I swear I would have jumped on his bones if he was not already your boyfriend.” Vanity gushed, and my eyes widened.

Vanity’s words caused me to almost choke on my spit. “He’s my what?” I coughed a couple of times as I tried to process what I just heard.

“Oh, crap. I forgot. Your memory is blurry. He’s your boyfriend, sweetie, and you two have been dating for a year now.” Vanity said at the same time that the Chad guy waved at them.

I and Vanity waved back. “Ah, yes. My boyfriend that I have been dating for a year.” I breathed out a shaky sigh as my palms became sweaty.

“Yeah,” Vanity giggled.

The boys soon walked to the back of the class and sat not too far from Vanity and me when the teacher entered the class.

“Good morning, everyone. This is the first day in the week and I am certain that you all have had great weekends.” The round woman with glasses said loudly.

Vanity glanced at me and gave me a wink.

“We are not going to waste any more time, we are going to jump right to the next topic for the course.” The woman took out her marker from her handbag and walked to the whiteboard and began writing.

The class took a solid hour and the teacher left assignments with everyone before walking out. I typed the assignment questions on my laptop and planned to get started on them when I got home.

Everyone was starting to leave and I stood to my feet at the same time that Vanity did.

“Hey,” Someone tapped my shoulder and when I looked behind me, I saw Chad. From a small distance, the guy looked good but from up close, he looked stunning. He could have passed as a model.

“Hi,” I smiled shyly.

“I would have to leave you two. I have a meeting with the principal.” Vanity excused herself and I watched her walk away, leaving me alone with Chad in the almost empty class.

“I missed you,” Chad closed the distance between him and me and planted a kiss on my neck. “I could not stop thinking of you.” He continued to kiss me on my neck.

I tried my best to pull away but could not as Chad’s other hand traveled down my back. It went lower until it reached my behind, and then he squeezed, causing me to yelp.

He chuckled in response. “Let’s take this somewhere else, should we?” He finally pulled away from me. His voice was husky and his eyes were dangerous.

I felt so uncomfortable and wanted to flee but I also felt trapped. When I looked around, the class was now empty. I looked back at Chad and the masculine guy bit his lower lip seductively.

I did not feel attracted to him, I just wanted to try my best to pretend that I was interested because I could not afford him being suspicious of me actually not being Katara.

“I have another class, Chad.” I tried to wiggle out of his hold on me but he did not budge.

“Since when did you give a damn about school?” He laughed deeply. “And it would just be a quickie.” He pouted, and I felt my heart rate increase due to my anxiety. I did not know what to do so I only gave him a small nod.

He smiled, revealing his teeth. “That’s my baby!” He let me go but kept his hold on my right hand. “Now, let’s go before you get too late for your class.” He gave me a wink.

I tried to keep myself from breaking. There was no doubt that I was scared. In my past life, I was pretty much a virgin and barely knew anything about sex. I had no romantic or sexual relations in my past life whatsoever.

Chad led me out of the class and in a few minutes, we were in a supply closet. “Now, let me just lock it so we can have our privacy.” He locked the door and then turned to me. He licked his lips and hunger swirled in his eyes.

“I’m not feeling too well,” I tried to back out but it was too late. Chad blocked my way. He shook his head slowly and began to unzip his pants.

I saw his bulge and my eyes threatened to spill tears. “Chad, I want to leave.” I tried to walk past him once more but he again blocked me.

“Hey, hey. What’s wrong? You are usually into this.” He stared at me for a few seconds.

“We’re literally at school in a supply closet.”

“And so?”

“And so, this is not somewhere ideal to have sex.” My voice was firm.

Chad laughed as he ran his hand through his gray-colored hair. “Katara, the last time we had sex was in your dad’s office at your house when he was not home. That place was not ideal and neither is this. But that is what you and I are into.” He smiled at me.

“I–I don’t know.” I gulped. I glanced at the locked door and back at Chad. I did not want to be there and was trying my best to find an excuse that would not raise any suspicions.

Chad began to touch himself sexually and walked slowly toward me. I kept taking a step back until my back hit the wall. “Chad, I’m really not in the mood,” I pled.

“Screw it,” He laughed. “You’re always horny for me, baby.” He trapped me on the wall and dry-humped me.

I felt his hard manhood against me and I felt like throwing up. “Stop, please,” I begged, but that only excited him more. He pinned my arms on the walls and pushed himself onto me.

“Chad, I said stop.” My voice was getting louder and more firm. “Leave me alone!”

I heard him moan and then he claimed my mouth even though I fought against it. I had finally had enough, I was not going to let Chad have me against my will.

I suddenly kneed him hard in his balls and he lost his breath immediately.

He let me go and his hands flew straight to his genitals as he let out a small cry. “What the hell, Katara?” His voice showed that he was in pain. He fell to his knees and his eyes glistened with tears.

“I told you to let me go,” I replied as I straightened my clothes and hair that Chad had messed up.

“What is wrong with you?!” His voice was much firm now, which showed that he was recovering from my assault.

I stared at him on the floor as he tried to catch his breath. I could not believe that he almost had sex with me forcefully. He was so strong and I could not do anything. I had never felt that powerless.

I never wanted to feel that way again, and that meant that I had to do something about that soon. The only solution that came to my mind to keep Chad away from me was to break up with him.

I did not care whether he would be suspicious anymore. I just wanted him as far away from me as possible. “I can’t be with you, Chad.” I walked past him and approached the door.

Chad stood to his feet and he swallowed. “What did you just say to me?”

“I’m breaking up with you,” I replied. My voice was small and filled with fear. I quickly unlocked the door and as I rushed out, I heard Chad knocking things down to the floor in anger.

Two months later, I was on my way to the werewolf prison. The sun was bright and yellow. The sky was blue and the wind was perfect. I wore my hair down and had the windows rolled down. The wind blew my hair back and it was actually really soothing. It felt like I was at the end of a movie, but I was far from that. My life was not over, in fact, I think it had just begun. In my past life, I was alive but barely lived. I was in constant pain and agony and when I was finally delivered from that kind of life, I was thrown into a new one that was filled with so much crap that I sometimes wished that I had not reincarnated. But now. Now, I was much much better. I was more mature. I was stronger in so many ways that I could not explain. I finally had peace and I got the revenge that I sought so badly. But I got it by letting go. I got my revenge by freeing myself from the hate, the anger, the rage, and the need to want to punch the wall over and over. I got my revenge and vindication for

The air was cold and had a sweet smell. We were still in the room that looked like a conference room. From the windows, you could see the beauty of the town. It was very magnificent. Both natural and unnatural light filled the room, so we had no light problem. “Who can corroborate your story?” General Sara asjed again. We had her full attention and I could tell that she really wanted to know if what we just told her was true. But the thing was, we were not worried, because it was indeed true. If it was not, then we would have been worried, but not when it was. “Sam, Katara, and Chad can do that. They can corroborate our story,” I explained to her. “They were there, of course. Have them questioned. They would have to tell the truth because they wouldn’t want their application to the Supreme Court Of Packs to be threatened.” “Hmm…” She mumbled in response and chewed playfully on the pen. “But if they’re not the ones you were hoping we could use as witnesses then we have one more pe

“Hands where we can see them!” One of the policemen said loudly and with authority. My heart was racing and my eyes darted almost everywhere. Then Jade tried to calm me. “Hey, hey, calm down.” “They’re about to arrest us, Jade! How do you expect me to calm down? They could literally take us back to the rogue town and who knows what Sam would do to us.” I was panicking. When the policemen closed the distance between us and them, one female patted me down and searched me while a male officer did the same to Jade. When they realized that we had nothing on us that could be a threat to them, they took their hands off us and took a few steps back. “What’s going on here?” Jade asked confidently but got no response. A black sleek car then pulled over in seconds and the door was opened by one of the officers. From in the car came down a beautiful dark-skinned lady with curly hair. Her face was void of any expression and she was dressed in some sort of military uniform that I couldn’t reco

Welcome to Greenleaf—the huge sign board read. The moment we drove into the beautiful and modern town, it was like everything got better. There was no way that Sam, his daughter, or Chad would be able to do anything to us in this town. “Wow,” My mom said at the same time that Gloria gasped. “This place reminds me of the human lands,” Gloria chuckled the words out. “Come on, mom. How do you know about how human lands look?” Jade’s voice was laced with some humor. He kept driving and from the look on his face, I could tell that he was amazed by the town too. “Son, I know a lot of things that would make your jaw drop. I once lived amongst humans. But that is a story for another time.” She smiled. “That is how I know that this town is almost a replica of how human places look.” “Well…yeah, you’re right. Humans once lived in this town; a long time ago,” I explained what I was told when I was in the town some days ago. “It’s so different, but in a beautiful and jaw-dropping way,” My m

After an hour of driving on the almost empty road, we got closer to the mansion. But before we could reach there, we passed right past Chad’s house. He was not lying about having a birthday party, I would say that. Loud music boomed from the house and so many people were still there; out in the compound partying. I could not imagine the number of people in the house. “Gosh, they’re celebrating after they tried to kill us,” Jade mumbled, then released a short sigh. He glanced at me and kept his eyes on me for a few seconds longer before asking, “Are you okay? You look like you’re in pain. Are you?” He was right. I was in pain. But I did not want him or anyone to know that. “What are talking about?” I tried to act as normal as possible, but it was not easy because pain tickled my bones with each breath that I took. “Lucia, don’t pretend. I noticed that you were in pain from the moment you freed me from that shack. I saw that you were trying to hide that fact from me so I pretended

We hid in the bushes and stayed as quiet as possible. Owls hooted and night creatures sang, but that was not what we were listening to. We had our ears open; to see whether we hear more sounds from the cabin. “I hear nothing,” Jade whispered to me. “Shhh, be quiet,” I replied to him in a breathy way. We stayed quiet and just as I expected, another sound erupted. It was the sound of the opening of the door. We ducked deeper into the bushes and waited to see who would walk out. The door swung open and there stood in a dark suit and smirk, was Sam. He ran his hands through his perfectly styled hair and wet his lips before walking down the small staircase that led to the forest ground. He placed his hands in his pockets and proceeded to walk to the back of the cabin but suddenly stopped, causing my heart to do a backflip. I reached for Jade’s hand and held it tightly in my hand. Sam started to sniff the air. It was clear that he was catching a foreign scent in the air. And that was u
