Aurora POV

I sprint up the stairs, taking two at a time before I get to my office, slamming the door behind me. My office overlooks the garden normally it’s my favourite view to hearing the kids play and laugh. Will I hear that again?

My chest feels tight with the ways it niggling and squirming like the bond is fighting to escape. My mates have always protected me and shielded me and the kids. Did I always like it? No. But now I feel completely out of my depth. Everything that has happened between us we worked through together, but Luca being gone is just driving us apart. Ethan’s rage, Gabriel’s drinking, Caleb’s silence. Sabastian is the only one in control, but it’s not always a good thing. He’s strategic, smart and committed to his pack and me like nothing else, but he’s reckless at times and I feel like the calm facade is about to drop before all hell breaks loose. When that happens, I have no idea where we will all land.

More than anything, I am annoyed at myself that I didn’t s

Aurora POV Maybe it was silly, but as the gazebos went up in the garden and the wildflowers decorated every table and corner, I couldn’t find a single cell in my body that regretted it. We needed to remember what we were fighting for. It wasn’t just Luca. His justice for being taken. It was for all of us and our way of life. We all were helping to set up for tonight. As much as I wanted this for our pack. I also wanted a moment for us as a family.Jaden and Avery were carrying wooden benches and tables to line the inside for us to eat. There was room for us to dance and a bar stationed in one corner for drinks. We had an assortment of puzzles, games and a flower crown making station for the kids. Kara was also rather enthusiastic about that one. Mirrors are placed on the floor to create a magical walkway. The fairly lights and candles danced around and above.“This was a great idea, you know,” Kara sidles up to me as I nod. It’s beginning to come together, but no matter how pretty I

Aurora POV “Mummy, what’s going to happen? Our cousins never stay this long.” Violet’s green eyes search mine as I try to tuck her in. Or try as Aria is glaring at me, her long black silky hair drapes over her shoulder as she gets out of bed to fold her arms over her chest, tapping her foot impatiently. Logan, Knox, Jax, Xander, Addie and Luca all walk in. Great. Why is it never with their fathers they ask these questions?Tucking a strand of hair behind my ear, I beckon everyone in. I watch as they all gather around the beds getting comfy as if I am about to read a bedtime story. To my surprise, Luca comes and sits in my lap. My smile stretches from ear to ear as I wrap my arms around him, not holding too tight in case he changes his mind. Logan looks annoyed, his head in one hand as he huffs. Violet pushes her covers back and plays with some of my curls.Addie and Aria join her, and before I end up with a bird’s nest, I decide this talk will be hard enough on its own. “Settle down.

Caleb POV “We have a problem.” I barge out onto the patio where Jaden and Ethan are at the grill; the others are keeping the kids entertained with a game of tag. Gabriel is still at his lab, but my mate and all her friends are drinking pims in the sun. Aurora pulls her sunglasses down to the bridge of her nose as she turns my way. The sun beams on her golden hair, creating a halo effect. “What is it?” she asks seriously before taking a generous sip of her pims’s. Kara shifts on her seat, looking a little uncertain, which surprises me. Stacey sips on her own drink like Riley, as if we are making problems up for the sake of it.“I made a critical mistake. I pushed for the full moon—because of Selene’s power. But I forgot what night it falls on.” I had found this out a while ago. I meant to tell everyone before, but I had gotten rather distracted. “Caleb, the full moon is only two more nights away. I think at this point we are either prepared or screwed. Just have a drink,” Stacey smirk

  • Revenge Of My Four Alpha Mates   Chapter 122

Gabriel POV I had always loved spending time in my lab. It was peaceful, with no clocks ticking, just me and my microscope. This was the place I had created so many things that improved the life of my pack and my mate. I had developed healing serums, heat suppression serums, a mate bond disruptor - I didn’t use that one very often; there had to be clear protocols in place. It was to support a mate when their other half died to stop the madness from such a great loss occurring. It was not a way to avoid the pain of rejecting your mate if the pair didn’t want to seal their bond.Currently, I was working on finding a way to support us in both our wolf and human forms against the trappings of our wolves’ greatest weakness. Wolfsbane and silver. With the approaching battle, I didn’t want Teddy to have any more advantages than he already had. We didn’t know the extent of his power from Helios, but after training with Kara and my brother, things didn’t look good for us.Dylan and Avery had

Sabastian POV There was a week before the next full moon. We had been working on a strategy that would give us all the advantages we would need, essentially drawing Teddy closer to us. We knew the land, had the warriors, and with several more coming from both the Crimson Moon pack and the Blue Moon pack, I was certain Teddy wouldn’t know what hit him. As far as he is concerned, he had gotten away with it. We were still circulating messages on the dark web and petitioning the other pack. Each message receiving more and more hostile than the last, but it helped cover the truth. As a result, Teddy had asked to come with a few of his men on the day of the full moon to aid our investigation. A rouse on his part, but it meant he was walking into our own trap. He had tried coming earlier, but we had denied him until the last second to avoid suspicion. It meant that should we fail, we only needed to keep him at bay until the moon rose and Luca would gain his powers. It wouldn’t stop Teddy fro

Luca POVThe house was noisier than ever. All of my cousins were staying, and I had to share my room with Xander.I didn’t mind Xander. He is quiet and keeps to himself, but there were too many people. Too many emotions, energies — I could feel them all pressing against me that even my headphones no longer worked. Then, Mum was hovering over me. She thinks I didn’t notice, but I see her coming in to tidy my room when it is always tidy, doing laundry when the basket is empty and bringing me drinks or snacks even when I haven’t finished the last ones she brought me.“Mum, you're doing it again,” I grumble as she tiptoes in, switching on the lamp in my room even though it is barely afternoon and won’t be dark for hours. “Doing what? I just came to see if you wanted to join us for a game of Uno downstairs?” she keeps her voice light with that warm smile on her face, but I can see her anxiety buzzing around her like a swarm of bees.“I don’t like Uno,” I grumble, cranking up the music as I
