Chapter 24

"Sequoia, like Wisdom, wants to talk to Mel she knows he knows something about her. She's looking around at the warriors of the pack fighting the rogues. Klondike, a wolf jumps at Klondike he swings his large claw across the rogue's face. While the rogue is whining Klondike bites his head off.

She looks at Napa Mel's grey and brown wolf Napa again. A wolf jumps in front of her and snaps at her shoulder. Sequoia frowns, attacks him, and tears him with her sharp teeth.

Sandulf spits a wolf's head out of his mouth and runs toward Napa, but two wolves block him. He growls and throws himself into both wolves knocking them on their back. He bites the wolf on his neck. The other wolf is scuffling to get from under Sandulf. Then he howls when Sandulf sinks his teeth into his jowl and is ripped off.

Kaiser and Torak have killed nine rogues while making their way to Mel's wolf when they see Klondike leaping over a wolf and landing in front of Napa.
