CHAPTER TEN

Sapphire’s POV

I met up with Adrian and gave him a smile.

“How did it go ma’am,and it ended so soon?” Ha questioned.

“Yes it did,he would be able to give you all the details soon.” I said and made my way to the elevator.

I was alone there and I tried hard not to break down there so I held it firm with a smile.

As soon as I left the conference hall I went straight to my car.

My heart was beating really fast and I didn’t know what to do. Where did I get such nerves?

I wanted to be alone for a while so the driver had to go.

“Get down, I want to be alone for a while. I will call you back when I need you..” I said plainly and immediately he turned off the car and went down.

I was finally alone and I needed support so I called Diane. I needed her most at this time of my life because every little thing would make me want to break down.
