Revenge of the betrayed Luna

Sapphire's POV

I recently just found out that I'm having a baby and to say I was thrilled was an understatement, the fact that I and Alcandar will finally get to be parents excites me greatly. I just hope he's going to be as happy when I finally tell him.

I went up to the study where I knew he was going to be, I took a deep breath before telling him the news.

"Babe." I called softly.

"What?" He replied, not taking his eyes off the book he was reading.

His response was cold, but I decided to ignore it, he's been acting all weird recently and I just hope this news will make a difference.

"There's something I want to tell you, something very important." I said, choosing my words carefully. I didn't know if he heard me, but even if he did, he didn't show it.

"I'm pregnant." I announced.

For a second, he seems frozen, but it was only for a while before things changed.

"What?" He asked, while putting the book down. "What did you say?"

"I I said I'm pregnant, I'm carrying your child, we're going to be parents." Deep down I was so nervous, I didn't even realize that I was already trembling.

And all to my confusion, Alcandar burst into laughter.

"You can't be serious Sapphire, you've got to be kidding me."

"I'm not joking, why would I lie with something like this. I'm pregnant Alcandar, I'm carrying your child."

"Quit calling that thing mine!!" He spat, causing me to flinch.

"You're what? Carrying my child!!?" He scoffed.

He stood up and slowly approached me, I took a few steps backwards, I didn't want to be close to him as I didn't know what he was going to do next.

"You think I wouldn't find out, isn't it Sapphire?"

"W what are you talking about? Find out what?"

"That you are having an affair with someone else and now you've gotten pregnant and you want to put the blame on me, you want to pin that bastard you're carrying on me!!" He raged.

My eyes widen with shock, it felt like someone had just poured a bucket of ice on me, his accusations were so great. Heavens knows I've never cheated on my mate, why would I want to do that?

"Say something Sapphire!!" He barked, I flinched.

"I It's not true, this is your child, I don't know what you're talking about!" I cried out.

"This is your child Alcandar, why would you accuse me of such a thing?"

"You're testing my patience Sapphire and the sooner you confess, the better it will be for you. One more lie and I swear I'll snap your damn neck!!"

"I'm not lying, why would I lie? What has gotten into you? Why are you acting like this? This is a good news and you should be happy, but you're saying something else!" I said in disbelief.

"You can't—" My words were cut off when he grabbed my neck in a flash, slowly choking me.

I struggled to breath and I kept on tapping his hand for him to let me go, but it was all useless. The look in his eyes, it was something I've never seen before, it's as if he was possessed, he had this murderous look in his eyes and it scared me greatly.

What is happening to Alcandar? This isn't the man I fell in love with.

"Y you're killing me." I struggled to say.

I literally thought he was going to kill me right there, but luckily he let me go. I dropped to the floor, gasping for air.

"Alcandar, what has happened to you?" I said, but it all came out in a whisper.

"It'll be better for you to kill that thing in your belly Sapphire, don't you dare call that bastard mine. You'll have to abort the baby." He ordered.

"N no, no I won't, I won't kill our child." I refuse, then I stood up.

I don't mind him hitting me, but telling me to kill my own child, I would never do that to my baby.

"How can you say that Alcandar, please listen to me, this baby is yours." I cried out. "How can you tell me to kill our child, our child Alcandar!! I am your mate and you can't do this, if I kill this baby then you will get punished by the goddess."

His eyes kept on switching from blue to red and it was a sign that he was struggling with his wolf, but Alcandar seem to win the fight.

"You've ceased being my mate Sapphire, I want nothing to do with you, so don't you dare call yourself my mate. Do you understand!?" He barked.

I fell to my knees crying and pleading with him to stop all what he was doing.

"Please Alcandar, please believe me, this is your child I'm carrying, please believe me!!" I cried out.

He balled his fist. "I told you Sapphire, don't you dare call that bastard mine, that isn't my child." He fumed. "And you're getting that abortion, either you like it or not, I won't have you bring another man's child into this world. You must kill that bastard!!"

"No! No I won't, I won't have you kill my child!" I said with gritted teeth.

Alcandar rushed to me then he roughly grabbed a fist full of my hair and yanked it backwards.

"Ahh.." I screamed in pain, hot tears streamed down my cheeks, he was pulling my hair so hard that it felt like my hair was going to come off. "Please let me go Alcandar, please let me go!" I pleaded.

The more I begged him, the harder he pulled, it's as if my pleading only fueled his anger.

"It'll be foolish of you to try and go against me Sapphire, I won't tell you this again, you will abort that baby and that's final."

"What's going on here?"
