Chapter 53 - Fire

Theo POV

“Theodore”, I say, and she nods her head as she guides us deeper into the house. Agnes walks to her and holds her hand, and I look at Everly, and she shrugs. What the fuck is going on here? Is this some parallel universe shit?

“I hope you understand, but I will need to have you searched, and you will need to give your weapons for safety reasons”, Elena says, and I nod my head as I take my three guns out of their rightful places and put them on a table as two big men approach me and start searching me. I have my legs and arms opened as they touch every inch of my body, and it is starting to piss me off. When they are done, they take my guns and phone away. Great. I feel naked without my guns.

“This way”, Elena says, and I hold Everly’s hand while we walk down the corridor into the large dining area. I see the table covered in white table cloth and the seats are set with red plates and napkins.
