Mag-log inANYA'S POV
The celebration was over. It's time to go home. To Alpha Rolan’s home. A home where I would now be forced to make mine. The car ride back to Bloodfrost pack was silent other than our combined breaths and the sound of my thoughts rampaging in my head. What would my life be like in a Bloodfrost pack? Would I finally get to have peace? Is this just the calm before the storm? Would Alpha Rolan want to put his mark on me? If Rolan tried to mark me then he would die for it. Even if I don't believe a single word that Elda said about me. I can't help but have some doubts about me being cursed. I can't put his life at risk. Besides, I'm not sure I'm even ready to be someone's mate yet. But I can't risk getting killed the second I mention it. So I'll keep quiet and wait to see how this plays out. The car soon came to a halt and it was only then that I realised we'd reached our destination. I moved to open the door when Alpha Rolan grabbed my hand. Charges of electricity shot up my arm from the point of contact and goosebumps littered my skin. He sucked in a breath and I watched his pupils dilate in real time. The air thickened with tension and a knot began to form in my lower belly. “Let go of the door,” he spoke in a deeper voice and I let go in an instant, not daring to see what happens if I don't. He tucked in another breath and ran his eyes over my body before he opened the door on his side and stepped into the night. A yelp left my mouth when I felt the door get pulled open from my side and Alpha’s Rolan’s face came into view. “Step out,” he said in a low voice and I reached out his hand before he took it back and dropped it to his side. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement but I knew it was for the best. The less times we touch each other, the better. I stepped out the door and my mouth gaped open at sight before me. “Welcome to Bloodfrost pack house.” Packhouse? This isn't a pack house, it's a literal castle. This is a place I would have dreamed of staying in if I was ever given the chance to dream. And now I get to live in it. But all thanks to the wrong circumstances. Red, blue and gold colors adorned the walls on the outside of the castle–I mean packhouse–making it an unmistakable property of the Bloodfrost pack. “Is it to your liking?” He asked with a neutral expression in his voice and a wild look in his eyes. I don't even know why he's asking me this when he knows there's no one stupid enough to say no. “There's nothing I can think of that could be better than this,” I spoke with every drop of genuine honesty I could muster and his eyes softened before he motioned for us to walk to the stairs leading to the doors that would seal my fate. He pushed the doors open and the view outside paled in comparison to the one inside. From the floor. To the walls. To the chandeliers. Even the portraits of every past Alpha screamed sophisticated and authentic and everything I would have expected from a castle. But I didn't get to stand around and admire for long. Because Alpha Rolan immediately started walking up the flight of stairs, going as far as taking them two at a time. I rushed after him, struggling to keep up with his speed but thank the goddess that he stopped at the first door on the hallway at the right. He stood in front of it, waiting for me to catch my breath before he dropped his hand to the knob and pushed it open. A gasp left my lips at this sight of the room and for the third time this evening I've been shook to my core because of the wonders of the Bloodfrost pack. The room was nothing short of gorgeous. The floor was done in white marble which was then covered with a rug I believed to be handwoven. The walls were painted with white and gold, two dominant colors that worked perfectly in the symbiosis of this room’s interior. And don't get me started on how spacious it was. The Alpha has good taste in his room choice. I didn't even know we'd stepped in till my feet brushed against the wood of the bed frame. My fingers ran over the fabric of the bedcovers and its texture almost brought out a sigh from my lips. “You will have to settle for this decor for now. Your arrival was short notice so we didn't have any time to prepare for you but rest assured that by tomorrow you would have everything you need or want.” My ears perked at his words before my eyes widened when the meaning of said words sank in. “What are you saying?” “I will not repeat myself.” “Are you saying the room is mine?” I asked cautiously, hoping that my assumptions wouldn't land with my head on a stake. “Yes. Why else would I bring you here? Also you didn't bring any clothes with you so we'll make arrangements for those.” My heart melted in my chest and I touched the bed covers again and tears welled in my eyes. “Thank You,” I spoke low enough for only him to hear and if it wasn't for the slight movement in his shoulders as he moved for the door, I would have thought he didn't hear me. “How soon before I get to go outside?” His fingers stopped over the door knob and his stance went rigid before he slowly turned to me with a wicked look in his eyes and I knew I wouldn't like whatever comes from his mouth. “You won't be going outside.”ROLAN’S POVHer hips swayed to an invisible melody and the wind ruffled her hair making her look like the most ethereal being in the world. Scatch that she is the most ethereal woman in the world. Everything about her is heavenly. From her pale skin. To her luscious raven colored hair. To her violet eyes. Everything about her is unreal. And I will own every last piece of her. “Rolan!” Curtis yelled into my ear and I jerked in my seat, causing me to tip over the glass of water on my desk. The glass shattered against the floor and Curtis’ heated glare was still trained on me. “What the fuck do you want, Curtis?” I threw him a glare of my own, no way I'm I going to get disrespected in my own damn off even if it was by my Beta who I sometimes saw as a friend. “Oh I'm sorry. I only want to know why the Alpha was lost in a daze while his Beta was discussing a very important topic. What the hell is going on, Rolan?” “There's nothing going on.” “Don't give me that crap, Rolan. You w
ANYA’S POVIt's been three days since I was bought by Alpha Rolan and I've soon come to realise that he said I wouldn't go outside, meant every word of it. I wasn't allowed to leave the fore walls of this space. It's so bad that there are guards standing at my door 24/7 and the room that I had once loved the first night I came here has now become my beautiful prison. A prison I would give to step out of. But on the bright side, I'm well fed and I have so many new clothes that I don't think I could ever have to repeat a dress for a year. Most of the luxuries I couldn't have when I was still in the Silverfang pack are now mine for the taking but I still wanted more. And right now, more included getting to leave this damned room. The knob twisted and the door was gently pushed open but I didn't turn my gaze from the window. I already knew who it was even before he put the key into the lock.Alpha Rolan’s footsteps grew louder with each step he took towards me and the smell of his wood

ANYA’S POV "Before the presence of the Alpha-king of Bloodfrost kingdom!" "Before the presence of the Alpha-king of Bloodfrost kingdom!" "Bfore the presence of the Alpha-king of Bloodfrost kingdom!" My mind raced with a million thoughts a second, my heart pounded against its bony prison and the air felt like shards of glass in my lungs, making me wish that I could just die here and now. Alpha Rolan McDrago was one of the most feared men in the country. The power in his last name alone was enough to make grown men and Alphas tremble in fear. He has started wars just for the thrill of the fight and still ended up winning those wars And now I'm to be judged in front of that same man. He might even kill Elda and me for wasting his precious time. I practically shook in his presence. My stomach formed in its wake. “Please help me, dear goddess,” I begged in my head and even when every part of my being should be telling me to screw the moon goddess because of the number
ANYA’S POV My 18th birthday… a complete and totally hilarious joke. It was a day that felt as if I’d committed a crime whenever it came. No matter what I did that day or any other, I would always be seen as a misfit… a dark curse to the entire pack. Even for something as basic and important as food, or anything resembling a normal life… which I felt I deserved… I was cruelly denied by my heartless stepmother, the now leader of Silverfang pack. “Anya! Anya!” her powerful voice boomed against the walls. My heart pounded against my ribs and a familiar feeling of dread sat in the marrow of my bones while goosebumps clawed its way across my skin. I'd recognize that voice anywhere in the world. Even if my body was long buried. “Dear, goddess,” I begged in a whisper that brushed over the flames of the candle in front of me. My hands shook as I blew out the flame, believing… hoping that my plea for life beyond this torment and pain be fulfilled. But I should have known that
