Chapter 129- Lucifer's Plan

Remiel’s POV

“Something is wrong with Jamari.” I hop from my seat on the sofa and start pacing Uncle Luc’s cozy living room. His eyes lift up from his reading in surprise, a frown forming on his brows. “I can feel it inside that she is in danger.” Fear grips my heart at the thought of something horrible could happen to Jamari and I’m not there to protect her.

Uncle Luc sets down his book before slowly rising from his place in his favorite rocking chair. The speed of my pacing increases the longer this feeling of danger builds within me. Uncle Luc walks to the center of the living room floor, blocking my path.

“What is it Remiel?” He asks, concern in his voice.

“Someth…” My words are cut off as the air stops flowing into my lungs. The feel of someone’s hands being wrapped around my throat drops me to my knees, my hands moving up to pry the invisible force off of me.
