Remiel’s POV(Moments before his spell was complete)Power swirls around me as the last few words of the spell are finished being chanted from my lips. An agonizing pain crashes into my chest as it feels like something is being ripped from my body, flying away through the air. Lucifer’s POV“Don’t be so sure about that.” Her body begins to glow purple at the same time as Remiel’s begins to glow. Power floods the room as Remiel turns around to face me, the same evil glint in his eyes.Power floods my system, a fraction of the power I once wielded back when I was the Ruler of the Demon Realm. “I don’t want to hurt you Remiel.” My eyes pleaded with him to back down. His eyes glowing purple as he accesses the well of power that Eve has provided for him in the absence of his own. Levii’s POVI rush to my Father’s side the instant that my eyes catch sight of his badly beaten body. ‘Eve wasss here.’ Damballa says in my mind, causing me to pause before my hand touches my father. ‘Is he back under her spell?’ I ask, nervous energy flooding my system. Damball frowns in the back of my mind, concentration on his face as he studies my Father. ‘No.’ He says simply, a sigh of relief leaving me as I reach my hand to touch my father’s still form. A cry from Jamari pulls my attention away from my Father, my eyes locking onto Jamari collapsing at Remiel’s side, his body badly burnt. Damballa perks up in my mind, rushing to the surface, shoving me aside like it was nothing. ‘Do not touch him, my beautiful Flower.” His voice rushes out from my lips, causing Jamari to pause in surprise. Her brows furrow into a frown, a sad look crossing her face as tears fall down her cheeks. Kenji stands over her, staring down at Remiel’s broken body. Suddenly he lets out a vicious growl,

Levi’s POVWe all settle into seats in the small living area. Jamari curled up beneath Kenji’s arm on the couch while I kneeled beside my Father to look over his injuries. “Who did this to you?” I ask him as I summon up power to heal his wounds. Purple light flows from my fingers, shining brightly with a golden hue.Surprise flits across my Father’s face as he watches my healing magic flow into him, healing the wounds he’s not able to heal thanks to the magical shield around the cabin. I’ve never attempted to heal anyone before so the sight of the purple magic leaving my body catches me off guard. The only reason I even attempted to try to heal my Father is because some of Remiel’s power flows through my bodym albeit much weaker than it was before he was lost to Eve’s control. Jamari’s POVWhy would Remiel send me his power knowing that it would make him vulnerable to Eve and her spell? How dare he risk being taken away from me! Power begins to build within me, the taste of Remiel’s full power becoming recognizable to me now that we weren’t in the middle of a battlefield. How could he do this to me? Doesn’t he know that I need him just as much as the other two? How am I supposed to go on while he is locked in a dungeon like some kind of criminal? “This is all my fault.” A sob leaves my lips as the weight of what Remiel has done comes crashing down on me. Jamari’s POVRemiel’s angry eyes flick to mine as soon as he hears us enter the dungeon area hidden behind the wall. A crazed look appears on his face as he watches us move further into the room. His badly burnt body twists on the bed Levi provided him, making me wince in pain while he doesn’t show any signs that he feels any pain at all. “Let me out of here.” He growls, no remnants of the Remiel I know and love visible in his words or actions. “This is a good look for you cousin.” Levi taunts, a vicious smile spreading across his face. “I should have locked your santimonious ass up years ago.” I cast Levi a disappointed look to which he only shrugged, grinning in my direction.“Release me Demon so I can return to my master.” My heart broke at Remiel’s words, agony taking over me and nearly dropping me to my knees.A strong arm catches me before my legs could give out and drop me on my ass. ‘Do not show emotions or weakness in front of him.’ Levi’s soothing words fill my mind, givin

Jamari's POVI woke up snuggled between two male bodies with no idea how long I had been knocked out for. Power flows through my system in quantities I haven’t felt thus far. I guess my body did need rest to recharge. I open my eyes slowly to look around at my surroundings. Nothing looked familiar, causing me to frown slightly. Memories of what happened at Lucifer’s cabin comes crashing back into focus, sending my thoughts into a frenzy of movement. Seeing Remiel harm himself like that was heartbreaking. And knowing that he is in that situation because he performed a spell to keep me safe makes the guilt weigh down like a rock on my mind. Arms wrap around me from behind, pulling me closer to Levi’s soothing body as he places a loving kiss along my collar bone. “Nice to see you awake.” Levi tells me, nestling his nose into my neck. Jamari’s POV “I really don’t think we need to bring so many Demon’s with us to the old Church Ruins.” I say for the hundredth time since finding out Levi planned on bringing body guards with us to the Ruins. “My Mother has made an appearance twice while we have been here, I am not taking any chances with your safety Red.” Levi says over his shoulder as he gives orders to six mean looking Demons he has stationed outside the perimeter of the Ruins. Once he finished giving out orders the rest of us moved past the barrier warily. Levi had a hunch that we would be able to bring armed guards within the barrier of the Ruins, but we weren’t certain that the old Church wouldn’t send us all flying away.
