Chapter Nine
In his room, Rio is in agony. Something wants to break its way out of his body. It was his thirtieth birthday but how can he celebrate if he is like this. Leonard cannot do anything to help his friend at this point. He too experienced things that Rio had been experiencing but the difference is that Rio feels almost thrice of what Leonard had experienced. Leonard is two years younger than Rio.
Uncle Ferdie had successfully convinced Aunt Petra to reveal a secret to Rio.
“Dear, can you please let me in?” Aunt Petra softly begs Rio to open the door.
He is calmer now than a while ago. He stood from his bed and forced himself to walk towards the door to open it. He feels nauseous and a bit dizzy.
