Chapter Fifteen: Alina meets Accident

The next morning, Arthur was checking the information instead of checking his office's important files. Somewhere in his mind, there was a hidden hope that through that information he would find a trace of his wife.

Although his wife had died five years ago, he still attended his funeral; however, his heart refused to believe that the body was his wife's. His heart still believed that his wife was alive.

He could not accept that the body that had been burned to ashes in the fire was his wife, although the forensic report and DNA test had shown that it was his wife. After reading the information, Arthur closed the file in disappointment. It did not occur to him that his wife could have any connection with this girl.

His wife had never been outside the country and this girl had never come to this country. This was her first time in this country. Still, he felt suspicious about some things. He looked at his assistant and asked, "Why is there no information about where this girl studied?"

Noah was standing next to the table. Seeing the disappointed face of the boss, he said, "Sir, Mr. William did not have a son, so his enemies and relatives kidnapped his daughter to take control of his company. After rescuing her, Mr. William probably never let them come in front of the media again out of fear. Mr. William admitted this in his own words that he never let his granddaughter go out of the house like that and she ended up taking home school and college.

He wanted to keep his granddaughter safe all his life, but his granddaughter strongly desired to become a model. So she forced her grandpa to give her permission to become a model. It can be said that her hard work and talent are behind the heights she has reached in the industry."

"Did you find out anything about why she came to America? What was the reason for her coming from London to America? When Mr. Williams wanted to keep her so secure, why did he give her permission to come to London alone? Surely, if there was no big reason behind it, he would never have let his granddaughter come here alone. I want to know the reason for her coming here. Find out the reason anyway," Arthur said, hearing his assistant's words.

His assistant said, "Sir, I don’t think our man can follow her. Several security guards in disguise are following her. Her Grandfather has arranged security guards to protect her. They are working for his safety from a distance. Seeing our security guard following Ms. Williams, her security guards came and asked various questions and they threatened our security guards that if our security guards do not stop following her, they will complain to the police.

Mr. George, you have already seen that girl's attitude. She was vulgar. If that girl heard our men are following her then she could make trouble for you"

Hearing Noah's words, Arthur remained silent without saying anything. "Sir, if you still want us to follow that girl, then I will instruct our security guards to follow that girl in disguise."

Hearing the assistant's words, he shook his head and said, "There is no need to do that. Instruct our security guards to follow her and come back. I don't want that girl to know that my security guard is following her, or she might have another misunderstanding." Hearing Arthur's words, Noah remained silent and nodded his head.

"Her grandfather is so conservative about her that he has kept her confined to her house her entire life, so why was it necessary to let her come to America from London alone? What was the reason for the girl to come all this way? Anyway, I need to know the reason for her coming here. I can't calm myself down until I know the reason," Arthur muttered, then looked at his watch.

Then, he thought something then he stood up and left the cabin. When he saw his assistant coming to get his signature on a file, he looked at him and said, "Are you going anywhere, Mr. George?"

"I am going to finish some important work. There is no need to follow me. I will be back in 2 hours." Saying this, Arthur left.

On the other hand, Anastasia was taking the children to school. Since the diver was absent, Anastasia was driving herself.

Ethan, Evan, and Alina were sitting in the back seat of the car. "Mom, we don't want to go to school today. We want to go to the hospital with Alina." Ethan said in a worried voice.

As soon as he finished speaking, Evan also said, "Yes, Mom, we want to go to the hospital with Alina. We don't want to leave her alone."

Hearing the worried voices of the boys, Anastasia said, "There is nothing to worry about. I am taking Alina to the hospital for a regular checkup and I will drop her off at school when her checkup is over. Don't worry, everything's fine."

Ethan and Evan didn't say anything else after hearing their Mother's words. They sat silently. When the car stopped in front of the school, Ethan and Evan got out of the car.

Anastasia got out of the car, picked Alina up in her arms, and walked Ethan and Evan to the school gate. "There is nothing to worry about, so don't be afraid. You'll be out of the hospital soon sis. You are so brave," Ethan said reassuringly, looking at Alina.

"Of course, we will wait for you," Evan said, gently holding his sister's hand. Alina looked at them without saying anything and gave them a sweet smile.

Then they entered the school gate. As she was returning with Alina, someone suddenly called her from behind. "Miss William."

Anastasia looked back and saw Alden standing there. As Anastasia turned around, Alden said with a smile, "What a surprise. I never thought I would see you here. What were you doing here? And who is the baby in your arms?"

Anastasia looked at Alden and said in a calm voice, "I came here on a necessary errand. What are you doing here?"

Anastasia deliberately tried to avoid his question, she didn't want to tell anyone about her children. When she didn't answer his question, Alden didn't say anything else, he said with a smile, "I came here to drop my nephew at school. Then my eyes fell on you.

At first I thought I might be looking wrong, but then I looked closely and it is you." Hearing his words, Anastasia smiled softly without saying anything she started walking towards her car.

When she stood in front of her car, she was shocked because his car's tire was flat. Seeing the car's tire, Alden said, "Don't worry. Do you have an extra car tire in your car? I can fix it?"

Anastasia looked at him and said in a slightly embarrassed voice. "I don't know if there are extra tires in your car. I haven't been able to get everything ready since I came to America. So I am not sure if there are extra tires in my car."

Hearing her words, Alden immediately said, "I understand your busy schedule. It is a very normal thing." No one can ever get everything sorted out in a week after moving to a new place. If you do not mind, I want to check your car to see if there is an extra tire inside,"

Anastasia nodded and said with a grateful smile, "Sure, please do"

Alden immediately checked her car and saw that there was no extra tire, and since his car model was different, he could not put his car's tires on Anastasia's car.

"Even if you don't have an extra tire in your car, don't worry, I will send your car to be fixed under my responsibility. Once the car is fixed, my driver will come to your house to drop it off. Now, please tell me where you want to go, and I will drop you off in my car." He smiled a little.

"Thank you but there is no need for that. You are fixing our car, that's a lot for us. We will take a taxi from here. You don't have to worry." She rejected her offer because she knew that the security guards sent by her Grandfather must be watching her from a distance and when they see that her car is broken, they will definitely come to her aid.

"You can't easily hire a taxi in this place and you shouldn't be standing alone on the road with a small child like this. I can't leave you here alone like this. If you don't want to ride in my car, okay, I will stand here until you can hire a taxi." Alden was disappointed when she rejected his offer.

Hearing what Alden said, she nodded his head without saying anything and started waiting for the security guards, but even after ten minutes, no one came to stand in front of her. This time she looked around but she couldn't see anyone anywhere. This time she was a little annoyed.

She understood why the security guards weren't coming to her aid because Alden was standing there, and her Grandfather's biggest wish was for her to start her life anew and get married again. Of course. The security guards saw Alden with her and told his Grandfather about it, and his Grandfather forbade them from coming here to help her.

She got annoyed and waited for another ten minutes, but even then they came forward to help her. No taxis came along that road. Seeing no way out, she looked at Alden and said in a polite voice, "Sorry to bother you, but will you take us to the hospital?"

Hearing the word hospital, Alden immediately asked in a worried voice, "Why are you going to the hospital? Have you got any problem?" When you were going to the hospital, why were you standing here for these 20 minutes? You could have told me earlier"

Hearing his worried tone Anastasia was surprised. She spoke up, "There is no problem. I have no problem. I want to go to the hospital for a regular checkup anyway. If you don't have any problems, will you take me there?"

Hearing this, Alden immediately said, "What are you talking about? I will have a problem here. I will feel happy to help you. Of course, I will take you to the hospital. Please come." Saying this, Alden took her to his car and opened the door for them.

"Thank you," She thanked her and got into the car. Anastasia might have felt uncomfortable, so Alden opened the back door of the car for them, although he wanted to open the front door.

Alden sat in the driver's seat without wasting any time and started driving.

While driving, he saw two cars standing in the middle of the road. The car was probably broken down, due to which two men were trying to fix it. The cars were standing in the middle of the road in such a way that no other car could pass through them.

Seeing this, Alden got very annoyed and got out of the car and walked towards those men. After a while, when they continued talking to him, Anastasia was a little surprised and made Alina sit in the car seat and said, "Honey, sit down for a while, I will go outside and see what the situation is."

"Okay, Mommy" Alina nodded with a bright smile. Anastasia kissed her daughter's cheek then came out of the car and went there to see the situation.

When Anastasia stood there, Alden looked at her with surprise and said, "Ms. William, why don’t you wait in the car? Please get in the car. This man needs help fixing the car. I will give him a hand. It will take less than ten minutes so please get in the car. Don't leave the kid alone"

"Is there anything I can do to help you?" Anastasia asked Alden. "You don't need to do anything. Please go and get in the car. I'll do it as soon as possi...”

Before he could finish speaking, a black van roared and sped towards them like a mad horse in a race. "Alina" Anastasia screamed and ran towards the car as the black van was coming towards the car.

She tried her best but before she knew it, the black van was too close to the car. "Nooo" Anastasia screamed.

Before the black van hit the car, Anastasia heard her little daughter's terrified screams from inside the car.

"Bang! The black van hit the car so hard that it flew a few yards before flying away.

The car flipped in the air and fell to the ground like a wreck. The wreckage of the car caught fire in an instant.

A ball of fire exploded and thick black smoke spread across the road.

Seeing this, the alarms of the cars parked on the other side of the road blared with loud sirens. In an instant, the situation became chaotic and frightening. Everyone started running away but Anastasia stood there like a statue.
