Chapter 7 Get Her Back

(Alexa's POV)

"Alexa, huh?" A voice sneering at the call of my name pulled me back to my senses. I turned to look at the source of that voice and I saw Elle walking closer to me, "I don't how you know each other or why he deems you a special tool, but you heard him, right? From now on, you will be under my jurisdiction."

I didn't know why, but this woman seemed to plot something against me. I could see it from her playful gaze and cold smile. That made me swallow a mouthful of saliva involuntarily.

"From now on, you will follow my every command," Elle added as she grazed her fingers on my face the moment she approached me. "Don't worry, I will treat you well. Just make sure to behave well in my presence because in this place, I am the second-in-command."

"The second-in-command?" I repeated with a question mark floating over my head. I couldn't help but tilt my head slightly sideways. She was the second strongest here? Ezekiel can actually accept that his second-in-command is a woman?
