Chapter 1

“Wakeup sleepy head” Zack who is her cousin said.

“Nooo leave me alone Zack” she murmured. He signed “You goanna be late, you know you have 11 hours journey to get to school'

“Ugh nooooo am not going to school anymore”

“ Muuuuuuum, Kate said she not going to school” Zack shouted

“What the, seriously” she said glaring at him.

“Kate will you wake up this instant or will come up there and spank your butt” her mum shouted from the stairs case. Kate glared at Zack, who was smirking.

“Ok mum am up” she answered standing up from the bed, Zack left the room.

She went to the bathroom brushing her teeth while staring at the mirror,

“Kate duchmen, no matter what people say you are beautiful, I am a warrior, am a conquer, I am feared, I am not ugly, I am a waaaaaarrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiooooooorrrrrrrr”. She shouted with the paste in her mouth.

“will you stop shouting, it is 5 o’clock in the morning”  her mum shouted

“sorry mum” she shouted back pouring out the paste in to the sink, she washed her mouth and went to the bathroom and bath

After 30 minutes, she came out of the bathroom, then started packing her bag she need in the academy, though they will be given uniform, books and other materials needed for school.

After 10 minute, she went to the mirror to look at her cloth, she wore a sky blue jeans and a baggy top, leaving her hair in an afro, and wearing a booth.

She went down stairs carrying her bags, dropping it by the stairs leading to the main door.

“Good morning Mom” she said entering the kitchen, “ morning baby” her mom said from where she is frying bacon on the stove.

“ morning Dad” she said, “ Morning pumpkin” her dad replied kissing her head then resume drinking his coffee “ ugh dad do you ever get tired of drinking that” she said, squeeze her nose, her dad chuckle.

She at down at the dinning table where are brothers and cousin are already eating. Zack, Andrew, And ace

“ Morning sunshine” her brothers said

 “ seriously I told you to stop call me that, are we like 5 ugh”

Her brothers just smirk at her, her brother ace “ you are our sunshine” said messing hair up.

“ Mum, Dad can you tell ace to stopping messing with my hair it took good 10 minute to get the hair done”.

“ ace, how many time have I warn you to stop messing with your sister hair” he said sternly.

“But dad I was  just ……” he murmured, staring at his dad who was giving him a Stern look.

“Alright enough with the chitchat, Kate you have to eat up the car will be here any minute from now” her mom said dropping a plate of bacon, egg and pancake.      “ ok mum” she said with her mouth full.      “ bad eating habits Kate” her mom said “ whatever mum” rolling her eyes.

A car honk outside, Kate mum Clara went to the window to check “ Kate your ride is here”  “ ok mum” she shouted.

She came to the stairs leading to the main door with her brothers and cousin who are helping her to pack her bags into the booth of the car. “ well I guess this is where we say good bye” saying to her parents in tears,.

 “ come on baby we will miss you” her mom said “ yea goanna miss you kid now we have to face the boys who practical eat everything” he said sighing, Kate laughed,

“ come on Richard that our kid and nephew you talking about like that” she said hitting him on his back. He shrugged, while Kate was still laughing

“ gosh am goanna miss you guys so much” she said smiling “ yea kiddo” her dad replied.

“ enough with the hugging you goanna be late” Andrew shouted from the sidewalk. She sighed, chicken head she  while walking the down patio.

“ hey sunshine, am goanna miss you” Zack said with tear in his eyes “ yea me too” she whispered, he hug her and kissed her on there fore head. She sighed.

She hug her brothers Drew and ace “ miss you love you” “ hmm me too”

The car honked the car, they separated she went to the door of the car and look pack, she sighed my home am goanna missed them with years in her face. She entered the car and the car drove out. Stared at the house still it wasn’t seen again. She slept off.
