Chapter Six

Hazel’s POV

Leather. Smoke. Gasoline. That dark scent that was becoming uniquely him.

My heightened senses recognized him before my mind did.

Alpha Creed went completely still.

That reveals his identity naturally.

Alpha Creed went completely still. The hand that had been holding my hair tightened for a second, then loosened. I stayed on my knees in the gravel, looking up at him through blurry eyes.

The full moon hung heavy above us, pulling at my wolf, making my skin burn

  • Ruin Me, Alpha Step-Daddy    Chapter 150

Chapter 151The deafening roar of the explosion ripped through the interior of the transport bus, sending a shockwave of raw heat, shattering glass, and twisted metal tearing through the aisle.KABOOM!The floor beneath our boots buckled violently upward. The force of the blast blew out every window on the left side of the vehicle in a glittering cascade of shrapnel, filling the cramped cabin with choking black smoke, acrid sulfur, and the terrified, echoing screams of awakening passengers.Through the dense haze, the chaotic sensory overload blurred into a nightmare of sound and fury. Before the blast could swallow us whole, the twin didn't try to pull me down or shield me. With a cold, calculated shove, he threw my weight backward away from him as the center aisle blew apart, cutting off his path to me."Hazel!"Creed’s roar pierced through the ringing in my ears. Through the thick, billowing smoke, I saw him throw himself forward across the expanding chasm of burning metal, his mas

  • Ruin Me, Alpha Step-Daddy    Chapter 149

Chapter 149Hazel POVThe cold wind whipped against my face as I stumbled out of the overgrown ravine and onto the cracked asphalt of the highway bypass miles away from the Blue Moon fortress. My legs burned, my lungs felt like they were lined with glass, and every muscle in my body screamed for mercy. But survival, bitter and relentless, kept me moving.Ten minutes later, luck—or perhaps cruel fate—smiled upon me. A battered, grimy late-night interstate transport bus wheezed to a halt at a deserted crossroads station, its diesel engine rattling like a dying beast. I didn't ask where it was going. I pulled the hood of my jacket down low over my forehead, paid the bored driver with a crumpled wad of cash I had hidden in my utility pocket, and shuffled down the narrow aisle to the very last row.The interior was dim, smelling faintly of stale tobacco, cheap air freshener, and wet rubber. Most of the passengers were slumped over in their seats, fast asleep or lost in their own miserable

  • Ruin Me, Alpha Step-Daddy    Chapter 148

Chapter 148Hazel POVThe empty glass hit the tabletop with a sharp, hollow clink. The fiery liquid burned a hot, agonizing trail down my throat, but it was nothing compared to the ice-cold spike of humiliation piercing straight through my chest.“That won't be happening. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves.”His words echoed over and over inside my skull, ringing with the absolute, unyielding authority of an Alpha King who viewed me as a pleasant distraction, a thrilling midnight escape, but never—not in a million years—his equal. Never his true Queen.I had bared my soul to him. I had asked to seal the bond, to step into the light beside him, to trade blood and become his Luna. And he had swatted my hand away as if I were a child asking for the moon.A heavy, suffocating silence settled over the balcony. Creed sat motionless in his lounge chair, his golden eyes narrowing slightly as he watched me set the glass down. He opened his mouth, likely realizing the brutal bluntness of his tone

  • Ruin Me, Alpha Step-Daddy    Chapter 147

Chapter 147Creed POVThe private chopper carrying us back from the Kenyan bush landing strip touched down smoothly on the rooftop pad of the Blue Moon executive estate just as the first cool tendrils of midnight fog began to roll over the mountain peaks. The moment the skids hit the concrete, the heavy, lingering warmth of the savannah completely vanished, replaced by the sharp, familiar bite of pack politics, security briefings, and the low-level hum of emergency comms channels flashing across my tactical dashboard.I cut the engines, the massive rotor blades spinning down to a slow, whistling stop. I turned in my seat, unbuckling my harness and reaching out to help Hazel unlatch hers. But the moment my fingers brushed against her hand, I felt it—a sudden, electric shift in her posture that had been building ever since our wild, unhinged afternoon in the glass-bottom observatory tower.Back in Kenya, after we had inadvertently broadcasted our private, breathless intimacies straight

  • Ruin Me, Alpha Step-Daddy    Chapter 146

Chapter 146Hazel’s Mother POVThe dead tone of the satellite line buzzing in my ear felt like a physical slap across my face.Click.Just like that, the call had been abruptly disconnected. But the echoing, ruined, animalistic groans of the most feared Alpha King in the entire hemisphere—mixed with the shameless, breathless sounds of some absolute, worthless tramp servicing him in the background—were still burning a white-hot trail of humiliation straight through my brain.I lowered the gold-plated receiver of my private jet’s satellite phone, my hands shaking so violently I nearly dropped the heavy instrument onto the Persian carpet of the cabin floor. My chest heaved. My vision swam with a sickening, crimson haze of pure, unadulterated rage."How dare he?" I hissed, my voice cracking into a shrill, venomous shriek that echoed off the mahogany paneling of the private aircraft. "How dare that arrogant, savage brute disrespect me? How dare he hang up in my face while some alleyway bit

  • Ruin Me, Alpha Step-Daddy    Chapter 145

Chapter 145Hazel POVThe geothermal spring left our skin glowing and our muscles boneless, but the relentless ticking of the clock inside my head refused to let me rest. The bittersweet ache of knowing what tonight would bring—knowing that I would have to slip away into the dark shadows and leave Creed behind to keep him safe—made every touch feel heavier, sharper, and infinitely more precious.Creed must have sensed the sudden shift in my aura. Instead of heading straight back to the landing strip or the main lodge, he wrapped a thick, dry thermal blanket around my shoulders, laced his fingers securely through mine, and led me away along a hidden, torch-lit path carved into the volcanic rock ridge. We climbed higher until we reached a breathtaking architectural marvel: an ultra-exclusive, private high-altitude glass-bottom observatory tower perched on the edge of a sheer cliff, completely suspended over a vast, illuminated wildlife watering hole below. The floor beneath our feet was
