Prologue

Hazel couldn't move. Her trembling body has gone paralyzed under his heated gaze.

Her wide eyes started tearing, seeing the familiar face of man who ripped her apart year ago.

Hands stuffed inside his pockets, he stepped inside her house making her cower back, her senses went on high alert.

She tried to speak, but no word came out as if her throat had refused to adress the sinner infront.

The fear she thought she had subdued with ruination of her innocence came rushing back on meeting the familiar charcoal eyes.

His cold irises roamed over her shaky body, taking in the angelic features he had dearly missed. He was taking calm steps in her direction whilst she was cowering back with rushed movements.

Her body flinched hard once her back met the cold wall. She tried to move away but shut her eyes in fear when he slammed his hands on her each side, trapping her. A whimper left her mouth feeling his hard body being pressed against her shivering one, leaving no room to escape.

"Long time no see." His rich voice spoke, resounding with similar deepness she had heard year back. His minty breath was fanning her temple, making her heart beats rapids.

"Hazel." He whispered bringing his face impossibly closer to her making her tightly crease her shut eyelids.

She wanted to push him back. But her hands felt heavy. The fear he instilled in her year ago had forbidden her to move.

He leaned down till his hot breath was mixing with her hitched one. Gathering some courage, she pressed her quivering hands on his chest to push him when he grasped her wrists with one hand, trapping her waist with other.

"Not this time, Haz-" He was cut short by baby cries resonating from living room. Both of them froze.

Her struggles died down, her face pale. She felt her blood going cold, the erratic beats of her heart audible to her own ears.

No, no he can't find this. He can't know about my baby.

He stilled for millisecond, before lowering his eyes to stare deep into her terrified eyes. The terror in her dialed irises confirmed his suspicion.

His aura turned more cold and dark if possible. A small chuckle vibrated from his rough throat.

Her unshed tears , she was trying so hard to control, started streaming down like waterfall, studying his deranged reaction.

She was doomed.

In hands of man who was her sinner, her tormentor, the man who ruined her.
