9. Mysterious Man

Bella felt the touch of a large hand hugging her body, while another gripped the back of her head, holding her back from hitting the hard marble floor. The presence of the helper was felt through the weight of the body on top of her, making it difficult for Bella to breathe.

Her body, and that of the stranger, rolled several times across the marble floor and the haystack. Bella isn't sure she is alive, but a gust of warm air on her face made her realize that she is safe.

Slowly Bella opened her eyes. What she saw for the first time is the silhouette of a face obscured by the light.

"Are you okay?" The question is in English, but the accent is very sexy.

"Y-yes ...," Bella replied haltingly. Her breath is gasping because she is still in shock.

"How can you be this stupid?" asked the voice again. "Didn't anyone tell you that this horse is very dangerous?"

Bella didn't answer that
