22. "Loveless Bonds and Marriage"

Solenn’s POV

Despite my pleas, my father refused to make peace with the Renoir Pack. The reason behind my desperate request was my deep affection for Timothy, the son of our sworn enemy.

Unfortunately, the intense battle between our packs continued unabated.

However, I found solace in the fact that the Moon Goddess had intervened in my favor. On my 18th birthday, I discovered my true wolf form and realized that Timothy was my destined mate.

Tragically, my father's demise thrust me into the role of the new Alpha of the Diamond Pack. Determined to bring an end to the bloodshed, I extended an olive branch to the Renoir Pack and their Alpha King, Nox.

As part of the proposed peace agreement, I requested that Timothy marry me.

But to my dismay, Timothy made a shocking decision. Despite acknowledging our bond as mates, he chose to flee from the Renoir Pack, leaving me heartbroken and bewildered.

Nox mocked me, claiming that peace could not be achieved thanks to his pathetic brother.
