“Beep. Beep. Beep.”
Selena’s eyes slightly opened, then it shut. She moved her fingers a bit before raising her eyelids.
At first, the light in the room blinded her vision. But after a minute, she could see everything clearly.
“Umm.” Selena mumbled.
She was still in a state of shock and trying to figure out where she was and what had happened.
For the first five minutes, Selena was confused about everything as she stared around the room. Then her memories invaded her brain, causing her to feel extreme pain while remembering every single bit of detail.
“Gabriel, he didn't promise me before I went unconscious. My baby.” Selena mumbled.
She reached out to touch her stomach, but her hands could not reach her belly as the handcuffs restrained her wrist and pulled her hands back.
“Handcuffs? No! No! He's going to kill our baby.” Selena cried.
