Natalie's POV

“Congratulations Luna, you're two months pregnant,” the doctor said to me with a beautiful smile on her face.

“Wow, two months?” I asked in surprise. I didn't feel anything, I didn't notice any change either.

“Yes, two months. I am very sure the Alpha and his son, your husband, would be so pleased to hear this great news”

My smile immediately went down as I thought of the possibility of those two finding out that I was carrying a child.

“Can you not make this public just yet?” I asked the woman, who moved her eyes sharply from whatever she was writing to stare at me.

I swallowed as I waited for her to speak,

“Why?”

“Well, I'd like to know the gender of the child first. So I'll let you know afterward” I replied. That was certainly not the reason, but it was better to say this than tell her what exactly the reason was.

She thought about it for a while, looking at me, while I continued to look at her with a forced smile. I don't want any single person to know about this.

“But… How about your health? How would you cope? You know there are some things you're not supposed to take in as a pregnant woman. Luna, I think someone has to know”

“I'll let my maid know. She does everything for me, after all. After we've known the gender of the child, there's no need to hide it from my sweet husband. I am so sure he would be delighted to hear the great news” I said and she smiled,

“Okay then. Make sure to take care of yourself and when next you're coming, I'll love you to come with this maid of yours. There are some things I need to tell her”

“Noted doctor, thank you so much” I smiled as I stood up from the chair and she joined me

“You're welcome, my Luna, anything for you” She smiled so wide. I dipped my hand into my bag and dropped some money on the table.

“Luna, I told you, I attend to the royal families for free”

“I'm not taking no for an answer, doctor Shawn” I replied before making my way out of her office. I didn't pass through the front door out of the hospital but through the back as always.

Bring a maid, which maid do I bring to her now? Yes, I was known as the Luna of the Blue moon Pack to the public, only I know what I really am to my so-called husband and his father, the so-called Alpha of the pack. Let me say that I have the most horrible husband and father-in-law one can ever think could exist.

I was nothing more than a slave and a sex toy to those beasts. This makes me wonder who exactly out of both of them had the baby in my womb. It would be an abomination to know I was carrying my husband's father's child, so I'm praying, really hard, to the moon goddess that it's my husband's baby, else…

Entering a cab, I made my way to my father's shop first, since it's been a while since I came to visit him.

“Father?”

“My daughter” my father dropped the iron he was working on and took off his shade before standing up. I rushed to hug him,

“I missed you, papa”

“And I miss my baby girl too. You look good” Father said to me after the hug. He looked at me from top to bottom, making me wonder if he had noticed that I was pregnant.

He cocked his head before asking,

“Is there something you'd like to tell me?” And the smile on my face widened, he noticed.

Soon, I began to blabber how I was pregnant and just wanted to keep it a secret for a while and tell my husband the surprise later. My father didn't mind, he was happy about it. He hugged me and prayed for the moon goddess to bless and keep me and the baby safe.

I am not scared to tell Father this one, he is my father after all, and he deserves to know that he'll be a grandfather real soon. But the hell I'm facing in that house, I dare not tell my father. Aside from the fact that there was nothing really he could do, I didn't want him to worry about me. He should remain happy and continue with his blacksmith work without thinking about what I'm going through in his absence.

I've been keeping this a secret for the past one year since I got married to Jasper, the son of the Alpha of Blue moon Pack, my so-called mate.

He has told me immediately after the wedding that he had nothing to do with me and would never do. He said I was only his wife in the public's eyes, and nothing to him. For three months in the marriage, I tried to gain his love and attention, but nothing worked. Instead, it only got worse as both father and son raped me, beat me up, and brought random girls to sleep with. I had given up on this marriage a long time ago.

“Take care of yourself and the little one in there,” Father said after we had spoken for a long time that I had even forgotten that I should have gotten home already.

Definitely, Jasper and his father would not let me have peace for leaving the pack house without permission, but I don't care. I knew I needed to go for the test after the continuous dizziness and throwing up every morning for the past three days now.

“Of course father, I'll do that” I smiled before kissing my father on the cheek.

That day, I left the father's shop with a bright smile on my face, hoping that things would only get better for me and my baby, only for it to get worse.

Who would have thought that that was the last time I would see my father? Who would have thought that he wouldn't get to see his grandchild for something I had caused?

Again, I say, I have the most horrible husband and father-in-law ever.
