Understanding

Selena had been standing outside of the villa for about two hours now, and still, she did not feel the need to explain her injuries to Gabriel since she did not want him meddling in her affair.

There was a lot of anger and stress building up inside of her heart that made her body feel tense and drained. So much has happened today that had her wishing the day could come to an end already.  

It was getting late, and the wind had gotten a bit strong. Selena looked up at the sky and saw that the clouds had lost their blue color and were dark gray.  She wrapped her hands around her body and hoped that Gabriel would stop his madness and allow her inside.

Over the past few hours, Selena had tried her best to give into Gabriel's wish and come clean about what had happened to her, yet every time the thought crossed her mind, she felt this firm sense of stubbornness flowing through her veins.
