Chapter Thirty-Three

Lisa's POV

I shrieked in fear as she screamed. Alex came running towards us. "Mom, what happened?" I asked.

"Don't call me Mom, I'm not your mother." She answered with a frown and I became embarrassed.

"Mom, you didn't have to talk to her like that." Alex told her with a frown.

His mom laughed. "Can you imagine what she cooked?"

Alex stared into the plates and looked at her. "Mom, she doesn't know. It's not her fault."

"She prepared noodles for me in my own house, I'm sure people sent her to poison me." She said loudly as I stared at the two of them confused.

"I don't understand." I was forced to ask them what was going on.

A smile plastered on her face. "She's just being dramatic, she doesn't eat noodles. You don't have to worry, I'll prepare something for her to eat." 

His mother pushed him and walked towards me, she dragged me towards the kitchen. "Don't you know how to cook?" She asked and the kitchen door flung open.
