Chapter-109 (You don't have family)

Scarlett Miller's POV

I looked at the screen and sighed. A pair of eyes were throwing daggers in my direction. I turned around looking at him.

"Scarlett, aren't you too naive or maybe stupid as well?" He said those words all of a sudden while making me all confused.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked him.

"Nothing. Grandma might be waiting for us. Come." He uttered.

I didn't move initially I was hesitant to say that I didn't want to come there and face all of them already.

When I didn't move he looked at me amusingly, "What happened?" He frowned at me.

I ignored him and walked towards the bed. I sat on the edge of it.

"I don't want to come downstairs." I simply said.

With that, I flopped onto the bed on my stomach and felt a little relaxed. I didn't want to lie down but I was just hungry and tired at the moment.

"What's this now?" He came forward and pulled my arm to make me sit.

I was fondling with my finge
