Scarlett Miller's POV

"Don't worry. Let me call Daniel." And without listening to me once she hung up the call.

"Your fear is right. Something worst is going to happen." I heard a voice from behind me.

I turned around to see Jenna standing there. I was baffled after seeing her like this. But she moved towards me unhesitatingly.

"How are you?" She came and kept her hand around my cheek.

The wind was harshly blowing and it was making trees rustle. A cold breeze stirred my hair at that moment. I closed my eyes to feel that freshness on my skin.

"I am alright." When my eyes didn't match my words. She frowned at me.

"Come here." She extended her hand in my direction.

I was baffled at first and when she encouraged me to do. I did.

She took me to the benches there under the green shield. Both of us sat there. For a while, there was complete silence. Nothing came out of my mouth so as her. But I was truly enjoying the solace.
