Chapter-20 (First Date)

"If you wanted to go with me, you can directly ask me not to mom like that. I will happily drive you to our house," I said and moved out.

"Our house", she yelled back but I ignored her.

Just a few minutes back Mrs. Winslet has invited me to dinner. I can't even deny her.

Above all, I have to go with Eric. I should have mom about their house or someone else. I shrugged away my thoughts and started doing my work again.

At 7:30 p.m.

It's already been a few hours, I am feeling grumpy now. " what's the time now?" I looked at my watch instantly.

"7:30 p.m." I whispered.

I was about to stand up but heard some footsteps coming towards me. It must be Eric, I stood up.

Before I could say anything, "Miss Scarlett, someone is waiting for you at the reception area." One of the staff informed me.

"Coming," I replied.

Who will be there? Not someone of my knowledge. Let's see. I followed him while thinking the same.
