26: YOU FUCKED MY GIRL

The AC was blazing and Mitch was getting cooler by the minute. He didn't understand why the nights were so warm from the other day. It was summer, but still, he felt like he was in the pits of hell.

His phone chimed, and he glimpsed at the screen, which was perched on the passenger's seat. It finally turned on after he plugged it into the charging port. His face lit up like a Christmas tree when he saw that it was a message from Cassie.

He stretched his hand to pick up his phone when a shadow of a man ran past the front of his car, he caught it in his peripheral vision. Mitch hit the brakes not wanting to hit the person.

“Who the fuck was that?” He muttered. Squinting his eyes, he searched the area, but he didn't see anyone. Gus warned him to go. Mitch didn't even reply to Cassie's message, he just stepped on the gas and did a 110 down the road.
