The silent alarm went off at about the same time the one in my pocket did. "Where the fuck is she going? Where?"

"East gate." I hit the door running as soon as Quinn gave me her location and didn't wait around for my brothers as they came after me.

I knew no one had breeched us so that meant she was on the move, but where? I pressed the combination on my watch and the gate swung open. I didn't realize that my mind was trapped in fear until I saw her up ahead. "Susie?" Was that my voice? It took me two tries to get her attention since the first one came out like a croaking old woman.

She stopped in her tracks and I could see from her reaction that she was wondering how the fuck I knew she'd left. I crooked my finger at her. "Come here to me." She didn't argue, just turned and headed back my way.
