Where Do We Belong?

Oaken Hills was a small town with a varied history. The whole town was built around a sacred tree. A long time ago according to the town's history a man named Oscar Oaken discovered the dilapidated and run down town of Oaken Hills and vowed to bring it back to life with the few locals who refused to leave. The only thing he had brought on his travels was a seed from an oak tree. It was customary in his family for many generations that once you reached 18 you were given a seed from the family’s oak tree and had to travel the world looking for a place to call home. Once you found that place you were to plant the seed and if you chose well then, the seed would bring prosperity and good luck to you. 

Sometimes people like Wren don’t have secrets because there are consequences to people finding out what they’re hiding. Mrs Quill was the only one who found out his secret and after making a deal with Wren she vowed to take it to her grave. It was on a late night after work that she didn’t want to cook dinner so she ate out at the diner on the way home. When she was leaving, she heard a noise coming from the alley behind the diner and thought someone might have been up to no good so she went to check. That’s when she saw Wren digging around the rubbish bins for his dinner. He would normally wait until after closing so he would never get caught but he had to skip lunch that day and

“That is the worst game guide I have ever seen and I play a lot of games at home.” Dylan said.“The only games you play at home are music simulators.” Noah replied.“I’ll have you know that all the guides in those games are far better than him. Logan and Cassidy had both disappeared leaving the rest with an endless array of questions but before they could ask anything they themselves disappeared and awoke in some sort of castle. It seemed that Charles had regained enough control to be able to get them out of the swamp.“You’ll be safe here for now.
