Kieran pov:

I stopped. Kade just said ‘mate’, I never believe in second chance mates. ‘ you idiot move,’ Kade said, trying to take control of my body.

“ You idiot, you would scare her. If we go to her and tell her we are mates, she just left her first mate. Have you forgotten what happened years ago” I said, fighting for control.

‘ That was your mistake,’ he retorted.

“ We have to let her trust us first,” I said.

‘ I will give you two hours, and if you don't tell me then I will take over, mate with her and lock you in here forever’ Kade Threatened.

“Two hours. For goddess sake, trust me for once in your life, I would fix it, I swear let please”. I pleaded.

‘Three days, that's what you got. Three days, I would lock you in here, mate with her and make beautiful pups with her,’ Kade said.

“You horny bastard, let me handle it please” I pleaded again.

‘fine’ he said. I looked up relieved, then our eyes mate. We stare at each other like what felt eternity She looks away and turns around.

“Elina!,Elina!. Wait up.” I called after her. I walked closer to her, as I felt her body heat on my body, Kade grunts. I know I was too close, I need to be , she smells so Intoxicating I couldn't think straight.

“I am here to pick you up,” I said as casually as I could. She turned so suddenly that she almost dumped her face into my chest, I fought myself not to hold her in my arms.

‘Move a little closer to her, I want to feel her more’ Kade said, I ignored him.

“I will take a taxi” she said, looking everywhere else but me. ‘ She couldn't even look at us,this is all your fault’ Kade said, “shut up” I replied. Elina turned to leave again.

“No, no. Hold on” I quickly said softly holding her wrist, I heard her hold breath and turn to me.

“Thanks Alpha Kieran and I am sorry for letting you come all the way to the airport, but I can find my way back to the pack” she said calmly, removing my hand from her wrist. My heart aches when she call me ‘Alpha” instead of Kier.

“Could you listen for a minute Elina, I know I am the last person you wanted to see. But for old times sake please let me take you home” I pleaded, hoping she would say yes and let me take her home, she bit her lip nervously, contemplating if she should say yes, biting her lip as always been a habit of hers when she is nervous, if it was five years ago I wouldn't find it seductive, but now all I want to do is kiss the hell out of her.

‘Yeah, let's do that!’ Kade said. “Shut up, you horny bastard”. I replied.

“Ezra was supposed to pick me up, is he here” she asked looking over my shoulder, Goddess, she looks so beautiful.

“No, he is not. Lina's mate is heavily pregnant, so he had to stay with her in case there was an emergency” I nervously explained, I scratched the back of my head nervously to keep calm at the way she was looking at me, then I continued.

“He didn't tell me you were coming. I..I..I overheard you guys talking, so I offered to pick you” I stuttered. I never stuttered, I am always calm when speaking, I never felt this way before, not even towards my first mate Naya. I noticed she was about to refuse me.

“Please, please let me” I begged.

“Okay, Alpha. I really appreciate” she agreed, but it hurt that used Alpha again.

“Please don't call me Alpha E. Please call me by my name or Kier like you used too please” I said.

“ Alpha sounds distant”. She stared at me with surprise, but didn't say anything.

I broke the silence “Where are you luggages” I asked when I didn't see her luggages.

“ I didn't pack any, she answered, walking forward. “Where is the car?” she asked.

“Oh hold on” I said, I brought out my phone and texted Liam, who brought the car for her luggages to go back to the pack. “Now let go” I said offering her my hand but she didn't take, what was I thinking, I know she never needs to forgive me for what I did, but I was hoping somewhere in her, still felt the same way or the same way I did now, I put back my hands in pocket to ease the tension around us.

“This way” I led to the park, we stopped at the front of my bike, I was glad I drove it here. “Where is the car?” she asked.

“No, we are riding the bike. I brought an extra helmet” I answered, looking at her.

“I am not getting on that. What would your mate think…” she asked, I quickly cut her when she was about to mention Naya. ‘Tell her we don't have a mate, Idiot and then she belongs to us or me’ Kade said.

“No, you crazy mutt,” I replied.

‘Mutt, you just call me a mutt….’ he said, then I completely cut him off, blocking him.

“Lina is making dinner, she is excited to meet you, you don't want to miss out” I smiled.

“Hand it over” she said, pointing to the extra helmet on my bike, I picked it up and tried to put it on her, she moved back and took it from me and wore it. I couldn't blame her, I blame myself for being a self centered asshole then.

I sat down on my bike, “Get on, it is going to be a long ride” I said, she sat down behind me keeping her distance. I hated it.

“ You should hold me, if you don't want to fly off the bike,” I said.

She didn't listen, so I started the bike, slowly then faster, I felt her hold on to me tightly. I felt Kade smirked, loving her body on ours. I smiled when she leaned closer to be comfortable, then she suddenly jumped, I quickly put my bike to stop making the bike pull back with force.

“Are you okay,” I asked her, “yes. I am fine, just feeling a little bit nauseated. Can you slow down a bit” she said. I nodded and asked her to hold me tightly, she leaned closer to hold but not as tightly as before, I felt Kade sadness.

I drove off, but slowly this time. I still had a mission, so I stopped the bike at a bakery.

“Why are we here?” she asked. “I need to get something” I said, she got down from the bike, so did I. I walked to the door of the bakery but she didn't come along.

“E, can you come with me inside?” I said looking at her, when we were kids, she would usually cry to me, to take her to the bakery so she could buy cheese cake. I hope this works.

She didn't replied, she looks at me as if trying to read me. I hate sweet things most especially cakes. I scratched the back of my head nervously. “Lina asked me to buy cake to celebrate and welcome you to the pack” i lied. “And I would not be able to carry most of them alone” i continued, I am not a good liar, but it will work.

I lead her into the bakery, to where the cheese cakes are showcased.

“Do you want to get something while I get the cake?” I said, she looked at me puzzled, “you love cheese cake, I just wonder if you want one” I said smiling.

“I am not a kid anymore, Kieran,” she said. “I wanted to get you something you loved, I don't think of you as a little girl. You have grown up matured” I said sadly,

“Okay,I will get one,” she answered. I went to the cashier and paid them for her cake and the one I bought.

“Are you done,” I asked. “Yes, I am just about to pay for it,” she answered.

“Don't, I already did,” I said smiling, "I didn't have cash with me, I would return it later” she said.

“E, please don't” I begged, “I..I okay” she answered as her cheek flushed , which made me sniff her. She moved back. “Damn you, Kade”. He ignored me.

“I am sorry, I didn't mean to,” I apologized.

“It's okay, let go” she said warily.

I opened the door, I felt the monster in me wake. The curse.

“Kade, what happened?” I asked.

“Kade, Kade.Damn it”.

I can't let Elina see me like this, then I black out. FUCK.
