After cleaning her face with cold water and wiping it with a clean towel, Mira picked her bag and left. She couldn't afford to have Vera realise that she just cried. She wasn't in the mood to have questions flooding her. Anyway what would she even tell her? That she was crying because she was about to leave this world? That would be crazy and hard to believe. Besides, she didn't want to worry her friend.

Peeping through the window, she bid Vera goodbye before walking downstairs and to the parking lot.

She drove off to a familiar destination, a place she had avoided coming in the past few months.

With a bouquet of red roses, she made her way to her mother's grave. It was clean and a the flowers laying on top of it told her that someone had visited her mother not long ago.

Removing the already dry roses, she placed her fresh ones on her grave and sat at the edge.

Tracing the name engraved on the tombstone longingly,her tears escaped again.

It seemed like today her tears were not willing
