It had been a week since Danny and I lost our jobs. We had just been roaming the streets and doing nothing all week. We were currently in my motel room and Danny was lying on my bed while I was sitting beside him playing on my new phone.

Danny had dragged me to the gadget store a few days ago to get a new phone. I really didn't want to because I needed to save money especially now that I didn't have a job, but he refused.

"Danny, I really can't buy a phone right now." I complained.

"Why? You've been without a phone since you came into this city and nobody stays in this city without a phone. What happens if you run into trouble? How will you call me then?" He said and I sighed.

"I've managed to live my whole life without a phone, so I think I can go on that way for a while longer." I said nonchalantly and Danny gasped.

"Did you just say what I think you did?" He asked and I frowned.
