"Things happen when you least expect them. You shouldn't be regretting your life choices. Instead, cherish them. Either they were the worst or the best. There's no more point of regretting. Move on from the past and look forward to the future. That's the best you can do to enjoy your remaining days," I said.

He then looked at me and smiled. "Seems like you know a lot about life."

"I am no expert. I just know how you feel with your situation right now. I knew the feeling of something about to end and you can't just do something about it. All you can do is to live everyday and wait until your last breath comes."

"You knew?"

I smiled lightly and nodded.

"I guess we are meant to meet each other," he then awkwardly laughed.

I've seen it too. "I guess so."

"What happened to your face, by the way? Why do you have a small scratch on your cheek?" Ciano asked one after the other.
