CHAPTER TEN:

The drive was silent and I wondered if we were going to Grandpa's house, or does he have another location he wants to take me to.

I turned to confront him after mustering every ounce of courage I could muster. "Where are we going, Master?" I queried.

He gave me a sidelong glance before putting his head on the chair and closing his eyes, but when I assumed he wouldn't respond, he did.

"We're headed to Grandpa's house."

I mumbled, "Oh," and nodded. After that, everything fell silent again until the chauffeur announced our arrival.

There we are again, his grandpa's mansion where I'll get to see that annoying teenage girl and the guy trying to flirt with me but I'm a bit happy because I'll get to see Tiana, I enjoyed her company that day.
