Chapter Thirty

After breakfast I went back inside to change my outfit per Xander's request, my dress has to be formal in his opinion.

"I am going to be part of the family soon, is all this really necessary?" I asked him.

"Until then, you are to dress formally," he replied and I rolled my eyes. Why does he take everything seriously?

After changing my dress I met him waiting in the limo. "Are we riding together?" I asked.

"Yes," he replied his face fixed on his phone. "Why? Shouldn't you rest, you hardly take days off," I suggested, I have plans and him coming along will ruin them.

"I am fine," he replied and I groaned. "You should be fine with me riding unless you have other plans," he utterestaringng suspiciously at me.

"What do mean by other plans?" I chuckled nervously, can he read minds now?

"If you don't, my presence shouldn't bother you," he stated and returned to whatever he was doing.
