"What's with this pregnancy report and these photos?"

I looked into his eyes, a smile twitching at the end of my lips. He finally received the parcel I'd sent, looking at how distraught he was.

"You sent these to me, didn't you?." - He slammed his hands on my desk,his face just inches away from mine with panic written deeply in his eyes.

"Yes, i did." - I replied calmly, feeling unfazed by his terrifying aura.

He withdrew, probably shocked by my absolutely nonchalant behavior. I ignored him on purpose, pulling the black file, i dipped my hands in - fetching the contents within.

"And I'm glad that they got to you duly." - I waved the pregnancy report, watching his skin pale beyond comprehension.

He kept mute, his eyes lingering on me as i spread out the photos on the desk like as though they were nothing but tarot cards. I raised my head, noticing that the area around his eyes had reddened visibly, as though he had been crying on the way here.
