SELIORA POV

Looking around the tense atmosphere slowly, I raised the sword with all the strength I had in me and cut through Kaelion’s chains.

I was not going to kill him after what I had just seen in Damon’s chambers. Not only was he cocky and arrogant, but he also treated his pack members like slaves.

“Do not move, I stated, swiftly landing the sword on Damon’s neck. “Drop all your swords right now and walk away or I will not hesitate to slice his neck open!”

“Do as she says,” Damon said.

From how terrified he looked, it was obvious he was a coward.

The guards all started to drop their swords and step away just like I had stated.

“Move further away,” I stated again, seeing they were still close.

After making sure the distance between us was far enough now, I looked back at Kaelion who had been silent and only stared at me.

“Pick it up,” I muttered.

Kaelion walked forward and picked up a sword while I scanned around the field for the best way possible to leave.

“Why are you helping him?” Damon asked. “He wiped out your entire pack. You should have done right by your pack and killed him, your father would have been ashamed if he were here.”

“Do not speak of my father!” I barked, pressing the blade more and more against his throat. “Ask your men to bring us a car.”

“Go into the garage and drive out of the cars,” He said, in a loud tone.

Two of his men instantly rushed off into the garage and drove a car towards us.

“Chain him,” I said to Kaelion who instantly picked up the chains that I had earlier freed him from on the ground.

After some seconds, he was done chaining Kaelion up.

“Throw the keys to the car on the ground,” I demanded, removing the sword from Kaelion's neck.

The guards hesitated which angered me.

“I said throw it now!” I yelled, pushing Damon to the ground.

“Do as she says!” Damon barked.

“Yes Alpha,” The guard responded, throwing the keys towards me.

Afterwards, I signalled to Kaelion and asked him to pick up the key as I pulled Damon back up.

I knew the only way we could both get out of here alive was to hold it captive until we were safe.

“Go start the car,” I said, as Kaelion picked up the key.

“You go start it, it is dangerous to leave you out here alone with them,” He muttered, pointing towards the guards and his pack members who continued to watch the scene in silence before handing the key to me.

“Okay, make sure you bring him over the car and shove him in the back seat the minute I honk the horn,” I demanded, walking towards the car which was just in front of me.

I hurried into the car and made sure it could get out miles away from here safely before pressing the horn.

In a few seconds, Kaelion shoved Damon right into the back seat just like I had told him and got into the front seat with me.

“If any of you follow us, he dies!” I screamed before driving off.

As I drove, the only thing I could hear was the sound of my heart thumping.

“I got us out,” I said with a smile looking sideways at Kaelion who smiled right back at me.

“You did,” He muttered.

For a moment, the evening sun shone into the car as we both continued to laugh.

“You do realise he is never going to let you go, right?” Damon who had been quiet said, snapping me back.

“I think it is time for you to get back to your pack,” I muttered, stopping the car.

I then hurried out and opened the door to the back seat before shoving him out.

“This is for all the ladies you take over like they are some object,” I said, kicking him hard in the head with my foot.

“You bitch, I am going to kill you both,” He yelled as I walked back to the car with a smile on my face.

“That was pretty impressive,” Kaelion muttered as I drove off.

“He is a jerk,” I replied, noticing the blood stain on his shirt.

“What is that? Are you injured?” I asked, taking my eyes off the road and slowly lifting his shirt revealing his bruised skin underneath.

“Damon’s blade must have sliced me when we were fighting,” He muttered.

“What do we do?” I asked.

“You have to get us back to the trunk, they left it on the road. My phone and a small first aid box are in it,” He replied.

“How do we get there? I have no idea where we are,” I inquired again, looking out of the car’s window.

I had been driving for almost thirty minutes now but the only thing I could see on both sides of the road was bushes.

“The crescent pack lives deep in the woods. It might take us up to two hours to get back to the truck,” He explained, removing his jacket which he still has on, and ripping it into two.

Afterwards, he tied the one part over his waist and leaned against the car seat while breathing deeply.

“Do not pass out,” I stated, noticing his eyes which were beginning to shut slowly.

He was starting to lose too much blood.

“Just keep going,” He mumbled, faintly. “I thought you were going to kill me this time, why didn’t you?”

“There was no way I was going to let that fool take me captive. Stop talking, you are wasting the little strength you have,” I replied, concentrating on the road.

“You are growing on me, Seliora. I do not know what I am going to do when I let you go,” He mumbled, as he finally shut his eyes.

“No, you cannot pass out,” I stated, patting him on the cheeks. “I have no idea how to get us back to the truck.”

SELIORA POV“Someone is here,” I whispered into Kaelion’s ear before slowly peeping into the hospital room.It was Rex.He was in the hospital room to finish what he started just like I had predicted.I could feel Kaelion’s heartbeat race as he leaned towards me and watched Rex make his way slowly towards Zack who was lying unconscious on the hospital bed.I could also feel his anger rising but this was not the time to act. I needed to see if there was anything Rex could do that which give me some clues about why he was doing this.“Stop!” Kaelion growled, rushing out of where we hid as Rex pulled a knife out of his shirt. He immediately gripped Rex’s hand while I watched the scene quietly.“I trusted you, Rex. Why would you betray the pack like this?” Kaelion asked, his voice a bit calmer this time.Rex didn’t look remorseful about what he had done. He only continued to struggle to release the knife in his hands.“Why!” Kaelion barked, finally taking the knife from him and swinging i

SELIORA POVI was completely sure of this. After Jackson had earlier announced Zack had been attacked, I was certain it must have been one of the guards.Back at my pack, there was a way I was able to determine whether a person was telling the truth or lying by listening to the sound of their heartbeats.I did the same to the guards as Jackson interrogated them about the incident. They all had slow and steady heartbeats which told me all I needed to know, they were speaking the truth. This then made me conclude the traitor was a person of a higher rank in the pack. This narrowed my options and left me with two options. Jackson and the head of the pack of soldiers, Rex.Asking Kaelion to call out all of the pack members was a way for me to search Rex’s room. The search was difficult, I had to unlock his room and hurry because he could be back in any minute. For the first two minutes, I kept searching but found nothing that could prove him guilty. Afterwards, I tried to make my way out.

  • SELIORA'S REVENGE; HER COMEBACK   chapter 56

KAELION POVI had nothing to do with what happened to Alpha Thane and since I would really love to explain to Seliora, I had bigger things to worry about.Jackson looked really worried.“The prisoner from the blood moon pack was attacked and almost killed in his cell,” Jackson stated. “I think this might be the same person who attacked Lexi.”“What!” I exclaimed, angrily.Enough was enough.Today was the day I was going to find whoever was doing this. The traitor in the pack had to die today.“How is he?” I asked, storming out of the office angrily with Jackson. “How did the person who did this pass through the guards without being caught?”“He is in the pack hospital. All the guards on duty have been tied down. They all claimed not to know what happened,” Jackson answered. “Whoever did this is not an ordinary pack member, he is someone who nobody would have suspected,” Seliora spoke behind me.“Gather all the pack members, Jackson,” I demanded, as we walked out of the house.Zack co

SELIORA POV“Seliora,” I heard, Kaelion call out to me while my head continued to spin. “Take deep breaths.”“I..do..not..think.. I..can,” I stuttered, running my hands through my hair.I was having an anxiety attack. The last time I had one was when my sister died years ago.“You are all right,” Kaelion said pulling me into a tight embrace while I just remained there. After a few minutes, I managed to calm down.“You good now?” He asked, breaking the hug.“Yes,” I replied, walking over to the phone which was still on the table.“Why..Father?” I asked, as my hands trembled. He has broken my trust in him. Not only that, I wondered if he was ever going to tell me the truth that Kaelion didn't threaten to kill me.He lied without hesitation.“Forgive me, Seliora. I will make sure to come get you,” He replied.“I said Why?” I yelled, picking up the phone. “You did this to our pack, you ruined everything. I defended you with all I had in me.”“It’s complicated, Seliora. I had to do it bec

SELIORA POVI was sure either Kaelion or Jackson was behind this.“I haven’t been here to see him since we arrived back here yesterday,” Kaelion answered with a straight face.“You have to be lying! Why are you doing this?” I barked, facing Zack again before rushing out of the pack cell. There was no way I was going to wait for one more second and listen to more lies about my father.I could hear Kaelion calling out to me as I walked away but I was too upset. I had been looking forward to this day, for the chance to finally clear my father’s name only to be lied to instead.“You have to finally face the truth, Seliora. It's not going to change just because you refuse to believe it!” Kaelion stated, further fueling my anger.“It's all a lie, he is clearly lying and so are you!”I yelled, looking back at him. “You would do anything to make this lie about my father true. He clearly denied knowing my father yesterday. What changed?”“He was not telling the truth, Seliora,” He answered. “No

  • SELIORA'S REVENGE; HER COMEBACK   chapter 53

SELIORA POVI couldn't explain how I felt about the hug, but I could also not deny that it felt good.I could have instantly pushed Kaelion away the minute he pulled me in yet I stood there. I let him hug me after everything. After Jackson took me back to the pack house, I was thrown into the cell. A few hours later, the pack guards dragged me out and made me stand where everyone could see me.Not only was I angry, but I was mad at myself for not thinking.I had the perfect opportunity. I could have gotten the Kysnite and driven Kaelion and the Blood Moon Pack member to my father’s house, but I didn't.Instead, I decided to save the man who was responsible for all the pain I had to go through.“What the hell is wrong with you, Seliora?” I asked myself, walking over to the bed while running my hands through my hair.Back at my pack, I used to make sure I did the right thing. I was calculative, I did everything at the right time but each time Kaelion and I were together, I felt differe
