KAELION POV

Damon was stronger since our last encounter. The way he gripped his sword, his strength, it was all so much better now.

“You must have been looking forward to this day,” I muttered, hoping to distract him with small talk as I dodged his sword which he continued to swing at me. “You must have been hurt by the way I defeated you in seconds and killed your men at the borders.”

“I am winning this, Kaelion. I am going to take your hostage from you and make her mine. I am sure she will be happy to see you dead after how you wiped out her entire pack,” He responded, his eyes blazing with determination. “I am going to make you pay for everything.”

I continued to dodge his attacks while taking notes of his movements. I just needed the perfect time to strike.

Damon had a huge reputation for taking women against their will, I was not about to let him take Seliora especially when I was the reason she was in this situation. She would not have been here if I had not taken her captive.

After a while, I could see Damon was starting to slowly lose his strength.

Without hesitation, I charged at him but he was too fast.

I charged at him again. Only this time, I targeted his legs.

“Fuck!” He let out a loud cry, as my sword cut through his thighs.

“No matter how trained and fast you have become, Damon. I will always be stronger,” I muttered with a sly grin.

I could see it in his eyes. My taunts were starting to get to him. His eyes which were once filled with a huge smile have turned into a frown.

His thighs were bleeding but the injury was not deep enough to stop him.

“Come get me, you do not want to be humiliated in front of your entire pack members. Do you?” I asked him, panting.

“That is never going to happen,” He yelled, flashing his sword in my face.

I could hear the sounds of our blades clashing in the air.

Damon was starting to lose a lot more blood. Seeing this, I seized the opportunity and sliced through the same wounded thigh with my sword.

This time he stumbled on the ground, groaning and moaning in pain.

“I guess you still have a lot more to learn,” I stated in a loud tone, pressing the sword against his throat.

“Seize the girl!” He demanded.

His soldiers instantly rushed to where Seliora was while I watched angrily.

I should have known Kaelion was never going to let me go.

He was going to kill me whether or not I defeated him.

“You take that blade off my throat right now and she lives,” Damon threatened.

“You think I care about whether or not you kill her?” I asked, breathing heavily.

“You do, Kaelion. I saw the look in your eyes earlier before the fight,” He muttered.

Looking back at Seliora who had been chained, I slowly stepped away from Damon. A few of his soldiers instantly helped him up while the others chained me.

I then watched him walk up to Seliora with the help of his guards who held him by his arms.

“Unchain her,” He demanded as I wondered what he was up to.

Afterwards, he and Seliora made their way back to me.

“I am not going to kill you, she will,” He said with a smile looking towards Seliora who stared at me with a straight face.

“I will gladly do so,” She replied.

Seliora switching up was me was not unexpected. I had seen in coming yet for some reason, my heart shattered as I gazed at her.

“I knew there was a reason I liked you at first sight,” Damon said to her, patting her on the back.

“Take him into the cell, we will do this in an hour!” Damon demanded, walking away with Seliora by his side.

The guards instantly dragged me up and threw me back into the cell.

Death was something I was never scared of, the only thing that scared me was the safety of my pack. Losing me at a time like this would only further devastate them.

I thought back to my last moment with Jackson and wished I had just hugged him for a little longer.

“At least I get to be with her soon,” I muttered, thinking about Misha.

The only regret I had was not making sure to kill Alpha Thane.

“It's time,” One of the guards stated, opening the cell gate while another guard pulled me up and shoved me outside the cell.

The crowd outside was even a lot more than earlier.

As the guards dragged me towards the middle of the field, Seliora walked up to me with Damon whose legs had been stitched up.

“My pack is going to come for you once you kill me, they are going to destroy and wipe out your pack just as we did to the Ember fang pack,” I threatened.

“No, Kaelion. They will have no idea what happened to you because your body is never going to be found,” Damon responded, smiling. “Guess who came up with that idea?”

“Seliora,” I muttered, watching her walk up to where the swords were arranged.

She stared at each sword for close to five seconds before finally making her choice.

Afterwards, she made her way back to me and stood in front of me.

“I guess this is it,” I stated.

“Kill him, Seliora. It's the only way you can avenge your pack and truly be free of him,” Damon uttered.

“You should know I meant it when I promised to let you go after all this was over,” I mumbled. “You finally got your chance, do it.”

Seliora’s eyes narrowed.

“Do it now Seliora!” Damon stated again in a loud tone.

“I hope you rot in hell,” She said, looking at the sword one final time. “Goodbye.”

SELIORA POV“Someone is here,” I whispered into Kaelion’s ear before slowly peeping into the hospital room.It was Rex.He was in the hospital room to finish what he started just like I had predicted.I could feel Kaelion’s heartbeat race as he leaned towards me and watched Rex make his way slowly towards Zack who was lying unconscious on the hospital bed.I could also feel his anger rising but this was not the time to act. I needed to see if there was anything Rex could do that which give me some clues about why he was doing this.“Stop!” Kaelion growled, rushing out of where we hid as Rex pulled a knife out of his shirt. He immediately gripped Rex’s hand while I watched the scene quietly.“I trusted you, Rex. Why would you betray the pack like this?” Kaelion asked, his voice a bit calmer this time.Rex didn’t look remorseful about what he had done. He only continued to struggle to release the knife in his hands.“Why!” Kaelion barked, finally taking the knife from him and swinging i

  • SELIORA'S REVENGE; HER COMEBACK   chapter 57

SELIORA POVI was completely sure of this. After Jackson had earlier announced Zack had been attacked, I was certain it must have been one of the guards.Back at my pack, there was a way I was able to determine whether a person was telling the truth or lying by listening to the sound of their heartbeats.I did the same to the guards as Jackson interrogated them about the incident. They all had slow and steady heartbeats which told me all I needed to know, they were speaking the truth. This then made me conclude the traitor was a person of a higher rank in the pack. This narrowed my options and left me with two options. Jackson and the head of the pack of soldiers, Rex.Asking Kaelion to call out all of the pack members was a way for me to search Rex’s room. The search was difficult, I had to unlock his room and hurry because he could be back in any minute. For the first two minutes, I kept searching but found nothing that could prove him guilty. Afterwards, I tried to make my way out.

  • SELIORA'S REVENGE; HER COMEBACK   chapter 56

KAELION POVI had nothing to do with what happened to Alpha Thane and since I would really love to explain to Seliora, I had bigger things to worry about.Jackson looked really worried.“The prisoner from the blood moon pack was attacked and almost killed in his cell,” Jackson stated. “I think this might be the same person who attacked Lexi.”“What!” I exclaimed, angrily.Enough was enough.Today was the day I was going to find whoever was doing this. The traitor in the pack had to die today.“How is he?” I asked, storming out of the office angrily with Jackson. “How did the person who did this pass through the guards without being caught?”“He is in the pack hospital. All the guards on duty have been tied down. They all claimed not to know what happened,” Jackson answered. “Whoever did this is not an ordinary pack member, he is someone who nobody would have suspected,” Seliora spoke behind me.“Gather all the pack members, Jackson,” I demanded, as we walked out of the house.Zack co

SELIORA POV“Seliora,” I heard, Kaelion call out to me while my head continued to spin. “Take deep breaths.”“I..do..not..think.. I..can,” I stuttered, running my hands through my hair.I was having an anxiety attack. The last time I had one was when my sister died years ago.“You are all right,” Kaelion said pulling me into a tight embrace while I just remained there. After a few minutes, I managed to calm down.“You good now?” He asked, breaking the hug.“Yes,” I replied, walking over to the phone which was still on the table.“Why..Father?” I asked, as my hands trembled. He has broken my trust in him. Not only that, I wondered if he was ever going to tell me the truth that Kaelion didn't threaten to kill me.He lied without hesitation.“Forgive me, Seliora. I will make sure to come get you,” He replied.“I said Why?” I yelled, picking up the phone. “You did this to our pack, you ruined everything. I defended you with all I had in me.”“It’s complicated, Seliora. I had to do it bec

SELIORA POVI was sure either Kaelion or Jackson was behind this.“I haven’t been here to see him since we arrived back here yesterday,” Kaelion answered with a straight face.“You have to be lying! Why are you doing this?” I barked, facing Zack again before rushing out of the pack cell. There was no way I was going to wait for one more second and listen to more lies about my father.I could hear Kaelion calling out to me as I walked away but I was too upset. I had been looking forward to this day, for the chance to finally clear my father’s name only to be lied to instead.“You have to finally face the truth, Seliora. It's not going to change just because you refuse to believe it!” Kaelion stated, further fueling my anger.“It's all a lie, he is clearly lying and so are you!”I yelled, looking back at him. “You would do anything to make this lie about my father true. He clearly denied knowing my father yesterday. What changed?”“He was not telling the truth, Seliora,” He answered. “No

SELIORA POVI couldn't explain how I felt about the hug, but I could also not deny that it felt good.I could have instantly pushed Kaelion away the minute he pulled me in yet I stood there. I let him hug me after everything. After Jackson took me back to the pack house, I was thrown into the cell. A few hours later, the pack guards dragged me out and made me stand where everyone could see me.Not only was I angry, but I was mad at myself for not thinking.I had the perfect opportunity. I could have gotten the Kysnite and driven Kaelion and the Blood Moon Pack member to my father’s house, but I didn't.Instead, I decided to save the man who was responsible for all the pain I had to go through.“What the hell is wrong with you, Seliora?” I asked myself, walking over to the bed while running my hands through my hair.Back at my pack, I used to make sure I did the right thing. I was calculative, I did everything at the right time but each time Kaelion and I were together, I felt differe
