I slumped on my office chair, it was getting more and more depressing coming into work without Leon. It was a Wednesday, me and Leon were about to go on nights and had a day off to prepare. He was sitting, shirtless on his sofa, playing some game. “Did you want me to go home at any point?” I walked into his living room, a bowl of cereal in my hand. I hadn’t really been home in months. The last two weeks had gone by in a spin. Trying to organise nan’s funeral and sort out her house. It allowed me to put my mind to something, none of this really hitting me.
