JADE'S POV:

Unexpectedly, Pearl and Kieran have gotten closer. Kieran appears to have completely changed.

Pearl is abusing the situation by accusing me of being the reason he lost his baby.

A call came in from Lucian. We have also been communicating recently. We are organizing a large concert.

“Hey what's up?”. He said as I picked up the call.

"I am all right, Lucian. What's up with the plan? I inquired.

"We must meet in person; it is crucial that we have face-to-face conversations.”

“Alright, where do you want us to meet?”.

“At the same restaurant we met last time”.

“Alright, I will be there”. I replied and ended the call.

I prepared to leave so that I could see him. When I came downstairs, I noticed Mabel in the garden through the window.

"My dear Mabel, you are doing fantastically well in your training.”

"Well, my father told me to always practice my skills very diligently because he doesn't want me to be intimidated by any wolves.”

That is fantastic. Have you seen Kiera

ALVINA'S POV:I paced the dark hallway until the air around me shifted. A cold wind blew, and then she appeared, Melanie. Her eyes burned red, her smile sharp.I bowed quickly. “Lady Melanie… I came to report.”“Report?” she snapped. “Go on.”I hesitated. “It’s Jade. She has been behaving strangely. She sneaks around, whispers to herself. I think she is hiding something from me.”Melanie’s face twisted with rage. “And you only tell me now? Foolish girl!”I flinched. “Forgive me, my lady. I was trying—”“Trying?” Melanie cut me off, her voice like fire. “I gave you one task: keep Jade under control. Yet she walks freely, and you know nothing. Do you want my plan to fail?”“No!” I cried. “Never!”Melanie stepped closer. “Listen well. If Jade regains her memories… if she slips from my grasp… It is your fault. And if my plan fails, you will suffer in ways you cannot imagine.”Her words made my heart freeze. I bowed lower, shaking. “I understand. I won’t fail again.”“You’d better not,” sh

JADE'S POV:I feel she would lead me to the right part.“Alvina, can we talk later? I want to go to my room and rest". I said to Alvina who nodded at me with a smile.“Where are your maids?". Alvina asked as I stood up.“I gave them some days off". I answered.“That's so kind of you. Alright go and have some rest but remember my words". She said and I nodded.I went inside my room and then locked the door as I was instructed to do by the person that spoke through my head.I sat on the make-up chair, facing the mirror and then she appeared inside the mirror. Lotus looked exactly like me.“You look just like me". I said to her,“Yeah, that's because we are identical twins". She replied."So what happened to you?”. I asked her. Her smile faded. “I no longer exist. I died during the war caused by Melanie’s mother. After she released the poison that was able to kill the dragons, our world became chaotic. So many dragons lost their lives. But that's a story for another day.”“I have an unf

JADE'S POV:That night, I lay on the bed, my eyes heavy but my mind restless. Alvina turned on her side to face me. Her voice was soft.“Jade,” she whispered, “how do you manage to stay with a man as horrible as my brother?”I blinked at her, confused. “Horrible? The demon lord? So you also think that he is dangerous? Though I am afraid of him, I think he is not that bad. He saved me from my cruel family”Her lips curved into a bitter smile. “Saved you? Or trapped you? You don’t know him like I do.”I frowned. “But… you’re his sister. I thought you were close.”Alvina shook her head slowly. “I only pretend. The truth? I came back not for him, but for you. To save you from him.”My heart thudded. “Save me? From what?”She leaned closer, her voice dropping lower. “From his lies. He hides so much from you. If you stay, you’ll only suffer.”I swallowed hard. “But… he says he loves me. He’s been kind to me.”Alvina grabbed my hand. “Kindness can be a mask. Please, Jade. Trust me. Escape hi

KIERAN'S POV:I carried Alvina in my arms upstairs. She was lighter than I remembered, weak from her escape, or so I thought. When I pushed the door open, I set her gently on the bed.“You need to freshen up and rest,” I said softly. “Later, I’ll explain everything. For now, just breathe.”Alvina caught my wrist, her eyes wet. “No, brother. Tell me now. What happened to Jade? She looked at me like I was a stranger.”I hesitated. My chest tightened. “Alvina… it is not simple.”She squeezed harder. “I want to know. Please. Tell me everything.”I sat beside her, rubbing my temples. “Very well. But you must keep this between us.”Her voice trembled. “You have my word.”I drew a deep breath. “When Jade and I went to the past world, she lost much. Memories… people… even herself. She does not remember much, and she does not remember us. And worse…” My voice broke. “…our son, Manuel, was trapped there. He is still in that cursed world and I don't know what he is going through right now.”Alvi

MELANIE’S POV:After I disappeared from Kieran's study I appeared in a shadowed chamber, far from Kieran’s eyes. A figure waited there, cloaked, hidden. Someone Kieran would never suspect.“You came,” the figure whispered.I smiled, slow and sharp. “Of course. I always keep my promises.”The figure bowed slightly. “Why call me here tonight?”“Because,” I purred, “Kieran almost kissed her, but Kieran doesn't know that I have more weapons around him, and they are all his trusted people. I had the person stop them before they could kiss each other”.The figure stiffened. “Jade?”“Yes.” My voice dripped with venom. “He leaned in, like a desperate fool. If their lips had touched, her heart might have softened toward him again.”“And you don’t want that,” the figure said quietly. My laugh was cold. “Of course not. Love makes her strong. Doubt makes her weak. And I prefer her weak.”The figure tilted their head. “So what do you need me to do?”“Make sure it never happens again,” I said firml

KIERAN'S POV:“I know,” I whispered. “And that’s what makes her dangerous. I am helpless about the whole situation”.I clenched my fists. “She’s back… and stronger.”Metatron’s eyes glowed faintly, his hands folding behind him. “Yes. And she will not stop until she destroys you and Jade.”I paced across the study, the floor creaking under my boots. “I cannot let that happen. I will protect her with all I've got.”Metatron stepped closer. “Protect? Or possess?”I froze, my jaw tight. “You know my heart, Metatron. Do not question it.”His gaze was steady. “I do know your heart, Kieran. That is why I warn you. Melanie feeds on weakness. She saw Jade’s fear of you, and she will use it.”I slammed my hand on the desk. “What choice did I have? The maids disobeyed me. If Jade had overheard too much—”“Still,” Metatron cut in, “her heart sees cruelty, not protection. Melanie’s words were not lies.”I turned away, chest burning. “She hates me already, I can feel it. And yet I cannot let her go
