JIMMY'S POV

As I drove back home, the memories of what had just happened played in my head nonstop. It was meant to be a 'just' kiss, like the first time on campus, although it had also caused an effect.

But this time, as I kissed Kelly, something so strange had stirred up inside me, like a spark of connection had been ignited. A strong sense of familiarity, as if my heart knew something that my mind didn't.

I couldn't process it, I had to stop, unable to look at her,too scared of what my eyes could reveal. No, I wasn't ready for the steaks.

And Hell, I couldn't accept whatever those feelings were. I was not a one to have a heart beating up for a girl. And of all the girls, it had to be Kelly, the very girl I had despised and tormented. The one that felt nothing but resentment and fear towards me.

Falling in love with her was a wrong use of my heart.
